We are so happy to be enlightened by Mr.Micheal Allen Harrison and family. The preformances from the

Loved to see Julia and How they interacted with the audience made everyone feel like they were part of the show.
Shout out to the young musicians (especially from play it forward)

We picked Rossi Farms to host our wedding this past September and are so happy that we did. While we originally picked it because of its proximity to the airport and beautiful scenery, the venue really came alive on our wedding day and was absolutely perfect. Emily Ediger, Rossi's Venue and Events Director and our day-of coordinator, was a dream to work with. She knows how to run a wedding like a boss and make sure things run smoothly, all while keeping the bride and groom happy and taken care of. She made sure I was blissfully unaware of some catering hangups and handled everything with grace. If you book your wedding at Rossi, I HIGHLY recommend also hiring Emily as your coordinator - you will not regret it. Thank you Emily and Rossi Farms for making our day so special!
Pretty great venue. We saw the album release party for Searows here. Nice crowd, nice acoustics. I'd come back for sure.
This venue is just beautiful. The acoustics are lovely. The organ is huge and gorgeous. It's pretty fun having a beer in a church too.
It was still beautiful but the renovation is processing. Only two exhibition at the moment. Washroom was far from hall. Check the schedule before you make a plan
Rossi Farms was such an amazing venue! I recently booked them for a distillery bottle pickup event and was pleasantly surprised with how easy and enjoyable it was to host with them. Not only is the space have a lot to offer and very dynamic (firepit + lots of indoor/outdoor spaces for guests, large cold + dry storage, and plenty of decorative supplies to pick from), their venue coordinator Emily is so incredibly helpful. She made the time for us to stop by the venue multiple times before our event and was such a supportive and calming presence throughout the whole process. I give Emily & Rossi Farms the highest praise!
Beautiful event center easy to get in and out the weight staff was very accommodating and the facility was very clean.
I'm just sick of coming here. The area is scary, and my car got dinged again in the narrow parking lot.
Some of the workers are fantastic, while others are atrocious. Guardian's worked very hard to build an inclusive staff, but that just hasn't translated to how they treat many of their customers. I get a general elitist vibe from many of them: a lot of condescending attitudes and workers acting like you're inconveniencing them when you walk up to the counter. I didn't used to get this treatment when I was dropping hundreds of dollars, but now that I have kids, some workers act like I'm wasting their time. This is all while 3-5 of them are standing around chatting with each other.
It's just not a welcoming place for casual players and never really has been. Prices, especially MTG, are always max-market, and I've found a much more friendly and affordable experience just about everywhere else.
Guardian will always be top 2 when it comes to product availability, but you'll sadly find your time and money is ultimately better spent elsewhere.

This little venue holds, I'm guessing around 250 patrons. The setting is gorgeous, and the sound quality is fabulous. There is definitely not a bad seat. Even when filled to capacity, it is intimate and feels like you're with friends. If you get a chance to hear a visiting artist play the 1883 pipe organ, like we heard Linford Detweiler do, then you'll know you've had the full experience!
This was a fantastic new find! The servers are friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and the drinks are great! I’ll definitely be frequenting this awesome spot!
Nice tucked away brewery in Portland. Very spacious inside. Had the famous Pumpkin Wheat Beer and it was pretty good. Definitely liked the Interior space if this brewery.
Great venue for small events (less than 150). The venue is lovely and well put together. It has a small stage for a band or dais for a panel. The main hall has a fire place and a large enough room for a wedding reception and ceremony. There was also a 2nd floor, which was awesome. It can hold about 20-30 people. There was a wet bar upstairs.
The only problem is there's only 1 bathroom for each gender. The event I was at was a wedding and the wedding party took up the bathrooms making it difficult for guests.

Went to see Fever's Halloween Candlelight concert and OMG, it was such a blast! From friendly staff who greet you at the entrance to a beautiful venue (The Old Church in Portland, Oregon) that has a great bar and lobby, this event was tops! The performers were AMAZING and funny with their awesome stringed instrument skills and light banter. This experience gets an A+++ all around!
I came here on a beer tour and had the best time! felt really welcomed here on my solo trip to maine. the person who led our tour was so knowledgeable! I learned so much and I can confidently say i can now brew my own rum in my apartment.
I love shipyard pumpkin head, so I may be a bit biased with the review. The taproot was a really good time, though, and the shop had lots of beer and gifts to choose from. It's definitely a must stop if you're in Portland.
The Evergreen is definitely my new favorite venue in Portland that I have photographed this year! The space is so pretty with so much natural light. So many unique spots for photos. I can't wait to photograph there again!
We like Shipyard’s pumpkin beer when we had it back in California so decided to go to the brewery to have it there. We were so excited to try it out. Just note that the initial smell can be overwhelming at first but it’s just bc it’s normal brewery smell. The beers were good and we enjoyed the pumpkin beer and the blueberry beer from Sea Dog Brewing the best. But those we’ve had back at home before. None of the new ones we tried were too memorable. Nice decorations of the place though and friendly bartenders.
The facility was clean, spacious and simply well decorated.
The staff was attentive and friendly.
Parking was a chore. The neighborhood is unpleasant and industrial. There were many unsightly RV homes parked near the venue.
I am not sure how safe this neighborhood is at night.

Held one of our annual fundraisers here. Lovely space and great staff.
9/30/23 - Visiting from VA and got to check this spot out. The bartender was super nice and cool. We were one of those people that came 10 minute's before closed. He let us get one drink. It was super yummy. Loved the scenery and atmosphere as well. We got out 2 minutes before closing time and thanked the bar tender for letting us get a drink. Would love to check it out if we get a chance to visit again.
Had fun here. Was with a friend that enjoys their pumpkin beer so we stopped to see what else they made. Kind of nice they paired up with Sea Dog so there was multiple beers to pick from. We got a couple flights and enjoyed it. Big portion of this place is the store too but there were plenty of tables to sit and enjoy the beer.
An awesome selection of games, with many different categories. The folks there are very helpful and knowledgeable of the different types of games, and if you find one you like, you can try it out at the store. Guardian Games is not only a store, but a space to meet friends and play your own games, and organize tournaments, and so on. Their is a snack bar/bar there also, to add to your enjoyment. I have not seen anything like this back in the east coast. Every time we travel to Portland to visit family, we check this place out. It's worth it. Give it a try.
The Melody Event Center catered our high school’s 60th Reunion at a local city park.
The staff from Melody was extremely professional from start to finish.
The décor supplied by Melody set a very classy theme, from white table cloths, colored table runners, and beautiful flower centerpieces.
There was an excellent hot buffet with meats, salads and all the trimmings and great wines and beer to complement the meal.
Melody did an incredible job or I would not have taken the time to write this review.

We had the best time here for our Wedding! We worked closely with Anna Sass, who is remarkably down to earth
and extremely responsive! We could not have asked for a better team to work with, or a more beautiful venue! It really required minimal wedding decor because the space speaks for itself. They do in-house catering as well, with a lot of variety to choose from! Even as a picky eater, I found something I was excited to feast on! We loved it all, and we are so glad that this space will be in our memories and beautiful wedding pictures for years to come! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

We are so glad we went with this venue for our wedding! They made everything simple for us. Their in-house chefs provided a wonderful buffet, and their decorator was a joy to work with and brought our vision to life. The staff that set everything up for us on the day were so professional and helpful, and adapted quickly when we realized everyone wanted cake sooner than anticipated haha! Thank you Anna, Krista, and everyone else!
Emily, the venue & events director, made preparations really easy.
She's thoughtful, creative and responsive (even when the event is months away). The venue was perfect for our company picnic of 350+ and there's a lot of room to spread out all the activities we had going on. The barn is climate controlled and a really nice option for the unpredictable PNW weather. I hope this venue becomes a repeat occurrence for our annual picnic.

My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago. It was a total dream come true. Noel took care of all the details and there was absolutely nothing for me to worry about, except having a great time. The food was delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the suggested vendors were amazing. The photographer didn't mind that my uncle, also a professional photographer, brought his own camera and took pictures. The DJ had a wonderful energy, we played Lord of the Rings music for our processional. Noel kept everything flowing nicely. Any questions that we had were promptly answered. Every guest that I talked to had a wonderful time and complimented the venue/food/ceremony. I am very glad we chose this venue. I had the wedding of my dreams to the man of my dreams.
Such a lovely venue, professional and prompt staff, and very organized. You’re in good hands at Melody!
We just had our wedding at Lakeside Gardens and it was an incredible experience! Taylor was so helpful in planning and prepping along the way and was always very quick to respond to any questions. The day of execution was perfect and the venue is so beautiful!! Lakeside Gardens made our day so special, I would highly recommend!
What a great gaming store! Boardgames, DnD, Warhammer and much more. Too bad I was only in town for a day, but very friendly personel, a great boardgame library you can play and try at a dedicated space and a great atmosphere.
Great employee with the ability to float on her cane. 🫥 Made the experience the best game store ever.
Sadly, our car was broken into and we lost the miniatures hidden in the back with tinted windows in a garage..! 😨 But at least my cane is fixed, and I have an awesome pin. ❤️

Toured the Guillermo del Toro exhibit today. ❤️ loved it! Lots of sets, behind the scenes information, tearing the animation into parts, and describing how it's made. We really enjoyed our visit.
Mostly rum (which is my jam), and a very solid variety of rum at that! Enjoyed a flight and a few cocktails. Highly recommend to all who love the rum
We went there on weekdays, last week of August, it was small crowd. Had two flights and all of them were amazing. Great food, had cheese pizza and pretzel nugget bites. Service was amazing. Their soft drinks were unique flavor and family loved them.
We had our Summer 2023 wedding here and it was so great! Taylor was our day of coordinator and she was a dream to work with. She answered all of our questions so professionally and thoroughly without making us feel dumb, and made us feel encouraged to ask more. Always had email replies from her or Noel within 24 hours. On the day of she was very calm and facilitated the vendors well. If she was stressed out I had no idea. The venue is naturally beautiful, so minimal decorations were needed. Very good landscaping, even during their off season the garden was well kept. Their catering was actually really delicious, and the bartender made great drinks and didn’t skimp out on the alcohol.
Some negatives were that there were a lot of additional fees. The venue was well priced, but catering had to be through the venue with a minimum. Outside food and dessert all had fees to be allowed in, payments with credit card had a fee, if on the day of we were early or late leaving we’d be charged a fee. I really enjoyed the space so I wish we could’ve had more time there than the additional hour we paid for.
Overall a really great place. Thank you so much to Taylor and her team for making our big day perfect!

Lakeside Gardens was a wonderful venue for our July 2023 wedding. They were exceptional to work with and made our day one to remember. We chose this venue because of the beautiful grounds, exceptional communication with the staff, and the inclusiveness of options that they provide. I never felt overwhelmed during the planning process thanks to Taylor, our day of coordinator. Our guests raved about the venue and loved the swan. I highly recommend Lakeside Gardens for your future venue needs.
Shipyard is a really cool brewery to check out when in downtown Portland. They are of course most famous for their pumpkin beer, which they start serving on August 1. Their selection of beer is decent and they pair up with Seadog Brewing so they had 20 beer on tap when we visited. There are tables set up and there is a good amount of space with even a few tables set up outside too. They have food available too if you need a bite to eat.
My wife and I both ordered flights of beer which are 4 sample sized pours of your choice. We ordered a margarita pizza also. The pizza took less than 10 minutes to be made, but the chef put a balsamic glaze on it, which it was not supposed to come with (see the menu for the description). I unfortunately don't like balsamic so the chef was kind enough to make another one without it like the menu described. I honestly was not a fan of the pizza and wouldn't order it again. It tasted alright, but the mozzarella cheese was so thick and dense and wasn't particularly melted that it eventually made my wife and I feel a bit nauseous later. Don't get me wrong, we love cheese but we felt like we ended up eating like a 1.5 lb block of cheese. It just didn't sit the same way as other pizza does.

Extravagant place for air conditioning, feel accepted, open tables, snacks, drinks, and cards! Highly recommend going to just sit if you ever wanted to build decks and possibly meet new friends! 😀
Well stocked store, great staff, a playing area to try out games, and an amazing overall atmosphere. I love this place!
This place is a gem of the PNW. I have literally never had a negative experience here, just knowledgeable people and plenty of open places to play. Adds to community.
Remodel is really impressive, cool to watch it go from brick alley (find memories) to a state of the art must see for both tourists and locals alike. I think it’s up there with Powells as a destination.
Only down side is it’s easy to spend lots of money (especially on Warhammer 40K) so treat it like Vegas and bring a set amount of cash and leave your credit cards at home! Other than that it’s quite a spectacle. I’ll post my Warhammer 40K collection which is 💯 all built from Guardian supplies (paint, minis, crates). So excited for Warhammer 40K 10e!

The perfect place to have our wedding! The grounds are so beautiful, dreamy, and well-kept! Noel the wedding coordinator made the process seamless and stress-free for wedding planning. The venue is basically a one-stop wedding shop and has everything you need to make you special day magical. Can't wait to get our pictures back from our photographer and relive the experience with all our loved ones :)
Fantastic walk through experience. Making Pinocchio was fascinating, still life galleries kept me enthralled for hours, and a good variety of pieces in these collections.
PAM does feel pretty small for a city the size of Portland. Though I visited the museum during exhibit changing and moving so at least 2 spaces were closed.

Such an awesome museum! Even the park across the museum is chill! Multiple floors to take in all the art and its divided into different floors on different building with an underground walkway to the areas. The special art was from Guillermo del Toro and his Pinocchio film which was amazing seeing how intricate it was made.
Really friendly atmosphere and a very large selection of games! They also collaborate with local game makers, which is really cool. I went to the Sunday event, Might I Suggest a Board Game, with some friends and we had a really fun time! We were able to play all kinds of games we never would have tried otherwise. Alex was really nice and he helped us learn some of the games. We also befriended someone who came to the event solo, so it's a good place to meet new people. The parking was also pretty good. They have a lot, and there's also plenty of street parking in that area.
Awesome drinks, had flight of rum punch - all very good!
Husband enjoyed 6 different things, I can't remember all of them, bought 2 varieties.
Amazing popcorn! Really appreciate the snack options. Good non-alcoholic cocktails.

Went here for my nephews wedding! Beautiful place, and the staff were all so helpful and kind. The food was delicious as well!
Not bad, I'd say it's worth stopping in at. Good variety of beers on tap including some one-off / experimental / seasonal stuff. I thought some were better than others but that's all personal preference - good to do a flight and find what ya like.
Overall vibe - kinda depends what you're looking for. It feels less "brewery-y" than other places I've been to, but I kinda like that there's a lot of room in their tasting area, they serve hot food, etc.

My second time at this lovely little museum. While their exhibitions are always top-notch, be aware that only half of the museum is on display while they finish their renovations. I would've still paid the admission to get in, but I think it would've been appropriate to let guests know that ahead of paying for a fairly expensive admission. Still, a lovely time and a beautiful curation.
This is a great brewery in Portland Maine. We stopped in for a sampling & was not disappointed at all.
I had the Blood Orange Wheat Ale & it was fabulous. The bartender was kind enough to let me sample a few beers to figure which was best for a full pint.
They have a nice menu for some tasteful bites while you sip on your beer. There is a very worthy swag shop & carry out beer that rivals most liquor stores.

They had a Pinocchio special exhibit, highlighting portlands contributions to this Oscar winning netflix film. Was done very well.
The regular collection is small but has a number of impressionist paintings worth a view if already there.

I have had the opportunity to visit this museum multiple times, and I must say it is great. However, it is worth noting that certain sections of the museum are currently undergoing renovations.
With that being said, if you're an animation enthusiast, make sure not to miss the Crafting Pinocchio exhibition. It provided me with a deeper understanding of the intricate process and the tremendous effort invested by the team in bringing this movie to life. It is one of my most favorite exhibitions! There are also some related events, check them out.

Went specifically for the Guillermo del Toro "Pinocchio" exhibit. Which was well worth the price of admission. And a really big deal for the art and artists who brought this movie to the world.
The museum itself is going through some renovations and a bit...in flux. But I did get to see a quite a few paintings, both old and new. Elevators make it accessible. The museum is light, airy and spacious with plenty of benches!! Gift shop is exemplary!!! It was my first visit. I'm glad I went!!

Several significant sections of the museum were closed off either due to construction or exhibit changes, but still probably worth the price of entry. It's a small but extremely well-varied collection including everything from ancient Native American art to famous impressionists to modern art including pieces produced by active, contemporary artists with the last few years. We spent about two hours to appreciate everything on display, but some art lovers may need to budget a bit more depending on their viewing pace.
We loved photographing a wedding at this beautiful venue. Epic open spaces with gorgeous natural light framed by the natural beauty of the old wood construction. Plenty of space to find interesting angles to photograph from above or below with the large staircase leading to the Mezzanine area above.
We had our Mothers celebration of Life at lakeside Gardens this last Sunday. I could not ask for anything to have been more perfect. Taylor and her staff were fantastic and friendly. Taylor helped us every step of the way and made this smooth and stress free. Their catering does all the food. It was really delicious and we had quite a variety of items to choose from. It is so beautiful once you get inside the gate! Thank You lakeside and Taylor for an incredible day honoring my mom!
The Laurelhurst Club is an absolute gem of a wedding venue. Its captivating setting, versatile spaces, and exceptional service make it a dream location for any couple's special day. As a wedding photographer, We couldn't have asked for a more picturesque and well-managed venue. We highly recommend The Laurelhurst Club to both couples and fellow photographers alike. It's truly a place where love and beauty intertwine, resulting in unforgettable memories and breathtaking images.
This has to be the best music venue I've ever been to. The building is gorgeous inside and out. The acoustics are heavenly. The seating is church pews. An experience I will never forget and I will be back. They also have a Spotify Playlist so you can hear upcoming artists that will be playing at the venue.
We went to a candle 🕯light concert ✨ it was very pretty, the acoustic sounded great. Polite. Clean and friendly ushers to assist you to your seat or anything you might need. There is a Ogan behind them.. I am sure they do concerts with it as well.
T-Money was the bomb! Their energy and love for the product made our day! Lots of rum to taste. Some in the flight better than others, all depends on your palate. Great space, atmosphere, with a view of the operations. We happened to visit on a seasonably warm day in February which allowed them to open one of the bay doors.
Absolutely incredible venue!
I had the pleasure of working an event here on January 28th. The venue is huge, set up perfectly and hosted by an amazing staff! The room has large projectors that beam custom graphics on two of the four walls. There’s also an enclosed patio that connects via folding glass doors.
On a vendor note, loading/unloading was through an enclosed loading dock which was awesome! Lots of one-of-a-kind touches here.
I strongly recommend this venue and hope to have another event here.

We had our wedding at The Evergreen and it was seriously one of the best decisions we made for our event. We had so many people come up to us after our wedding asking, "wow how did you both pull if off?", and every time we said it was because of our vendor team, including The Evergreen. The space is beautiful, and the staff is professional, beyond friendly, and helped us have the most amazing day. The Evergreen team made us truly feel reassured throughout the wedding process and made sure that our wedding day was easy and stress-free.
Emily at Rossi Farms made our work party absolutely perfect. She has a ton of great ideas, is wonderful to work with, and we couldn’t have done it without her. She helped with decor, set up, and helped find great vendors. The location is fabulous and everyone had a great time.
I photographed a wedding at The Evergreen in October and had such a great time. It's a beautiful indoor wedding venue conveniently located in SE Portland. As a wedding photographer who primarily shoots with natural light, I'm always drawn to outdoor wedding venues but that can be tricky in Portland and oftentimes those venues are harder to get to. Thankfully The Evergreen has large windows and skylights that fill the space with plenty of natural light. The getting ready suite is super cute and also well lit. The surrounding area outside of the venue has some great options nearby for portraits too. Finally the staff at The Evergreen are super nice folks and easy to work with. I'm really looking forward to working here again and highly recommend adding The Evergreen to your venue list if you're getting married in Portland.
After touring several different venues for our June 2022 wedding, we ended up at Lakeside Gardens. It was one I had found online, and it ended up being the right choice for my bride and I. From the coordinator, Taylor, to our last minute changes, to accommodating our 70 guests and support staff, to the catered tabled dinner; the preceding rehearsal dinner; the two night stay on the unique and valuable honeymoon suite, the entire experience couldn't have been better. Words cannot convey, what a wonderful experience this was; and the number of compliments we've received from guests really tells the overall story. Unequivocally, the wedding wouldn't have been the same without choosing Lakeside Gardens, and having such fantastic in-house support team.
A lovely wedding venue with a vintage feel in the heart of the East side. The bridal suite is beautiful, with a stunning staircase for potential ceremony entrances. This space worked perfectly as both a ceremony and reception. The nearby bars and restaurants were great for guests both before and after.
We had such a great time here! Cocktails were great & the staff we’re friendly & fun. We spent the day going out to all the breweries/distilleries in the area - this was our last stop and by far the best one. Highly recommend!
Good location. Easy to find. Street or lot parking for a fee. I attended the 40th annual PNSQC held here. 4 meeting rooms and a large main area with stage for events. Well kept older building. Has the old time look and feel with a grand stairs entry-way, spacious meeting rooms with tall ceilings, lots of large windows and HAC. Restrooms on each floor. A kitchen and a little bar. There are stairs or an elevator for accessing the different floors. Good place to hold an event. Check it out.
We had our wedding at the Evergreen last month, and I can’t imagine a more perfect spot. Shannon and Ginger and the entire staff at the Evergreen are wonderful to work with. The space itself is stunning from the floors, to the lighting, to the plants that live in the huge windows, you hardly need any decor to really make this place shine. There’s a reason The Evergreen makes the lists as one of the top venues. I’d recommend them for any event large or small.
Such a great venue for Books Gowns and Crowns! Thank you for the fun, and Naomi was the BEST!
I moved to PDX in 2013, I attended events at Rossi Farms and also lived in the area. I always LOVED the vibe at Rossi! A local, urban farm with character, amazing views and a variety of things to do on the property that makes the experience for everyone that attends. Everything from the old western town, the the views of Mt. Hood, to the grape vines, to the big red barn with a pool table, things to decorate, not to mention the space already has so much to offer with aesthetics and lastly its the best versatile event space for numerous types of events!
Last summer I got engaged and without looking elsewhere I knew Rossi Farms was my go to! So I booked it fast as I could as I knew it was a popular venue!
Planning a wedding was new to me and I was nervous for this day and possible commitment of a venue, even though I wanted to have it at Rossi, BUT I was greeted kindly by the wedding coordinator, Emily to give an "official" tour of the property! She made it even more evident that Rossi Farms was the place for me to have my wedding. Emily is extremely relational and not only values to bride and groom, but sees the importance of the guests experiencing an amazing event! Emily is attentive to detail, connects with vendors, is not afraid to give suggestions on what works and doesn't, is an active listener to what the couple's wants are and seeks to make sure the day is perfect. We had multiple things to juggle from a couple live bands,
3 different vendors and numerous family and friends to help. Emily handled it all with grace and confidence and it was the PERFECT DAY!
Our family and friends who were helping, ALL SAID... EMILY IS AMAZING and this venue is incredible.
I could say so much more, but if I could have events at Rossi for anything else, I wouldn't hesitate!
Best place ever to have a wedding and your guests will love it and as a bride and groom you will be well taken care of!
Thank you EMILY! Steve and I and the guests, say YOU ROCK!

I had a great experience hosting my retirement party here. The space is both classy and charming. The management is welcoming, competent, and motivated to help make your event a success. I especially appreciated the opportunity for guests to socialize both indoors and out. Definitely consider TLC for a wedding or similar type of celebration.
Went for a retirement Party.
I believe they catered the event (except for the cakes)
Lots of space. PA system loud enough. Food tasty -- although I might have salad to start at the the table (waitstaff served food -- they wore masks) and there was rice and the gravy was on the meat which was positioned BEFORE the rice so the order of the food really did not make sense.
But the area for the party was good enough size with plenty walking around room

First off, Emily is THE. BEST. We had been trying to have our wedding at Rossi for 2 1/2 years, and things kept changing because of covid. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We had the most beautiful wedding reception, and she helped us make it all happen. Highly recommend having your event here. It is BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you so so much for all of your hard work and help, Emily!! If I could give this more stars I would
This venue was the perfect setting for my wife and I's wedding day and everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful. This venue included set up of chairs and tables, and allowed you to bring in whatever vendors you wanted. The aesthetic to me was perfect. It has enough warmth and character that we didn't feel the need to go overboard on decor to make it feel like something special was happening. We’ll cherish the memories made here. We would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or other event.
Saw Jordan Rudess, a classically trained piano prodigy turned progressive metal icon, perform on piano and keyboards. Incredible!
This is a very intimate venue with great acoustics, and since it was originally a church (as the name implies), it has the original pews as seating which are covered with comfortable cushions.
The building has several stained glass windows, and a beautiful working pipe organ that Mr. Rudess surprised us by playing during his performance.
The view is unobstructed from just about any seat, and the sound was amazing.

We had a wonderful experience working with The Evergreen! We booked our wedding with them a few months before the pandemic started and they stuck with us through various date changes and life events. Working closely with Shannon and Yvonne was great as they were always responsive, thorough in answering our questions, and so kind.
The space itself is beautiful as is, however, you have a lot of freedom to customize it as much as you'd like with your choice of vendors. Our guests had a great time and kept raving about how great the venue was. We are happy to recommend The Evergreen to anyone else looking to host their wedding or event!

Rossi Farms made all of our wedding dreams come true!! We were looking for a rustic farm venue that wasn't too far away from town, and was also within our budget - and when we stumbled upon Rossi Farms, we immediately knew it was the perfect venue for us! It's such a hidden gem here in the Portland area, and I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful setting.
Aside from the venue itself being totally stunning, we hired their event manager, Emily to be our Day Of Wedding Coordinator. She was an absolute DREAM! Emily listened to our vision and brought it to life so perfectly! From start to finish, she was there every step of the way helping me through the planning, brainstorming, logistics, set up and clean up. Everything was seamless and we did not have one single hiccup on our wedding day. It was PERFECT!
I will remember this day forever as the best day of my life, and it just would not have been the same if we had chosen a different venue. Rossi Farms is incredible and now holds a very, very special place in our hearts. Thank you so much!!!

The Laurelhurst Club is a nice location, our jazz septet has played there many times for the Laurelhurst Dance Club. The clubhouse has a kitchen on the main floor with the dance floor and stage, and an upstairs loft bar that provides a cozy space. The clubhouse was originally planned as a community center when the Laurelhurst neighborhood was developed and has now returned to community center use following the COVID pandemic (the dance club funded and maintained the site for many years as the community center fell out of use).
We had such a wonderful wedding at The Evergreen in September 2021. It's the most beautiful venue - an industrial backdrop that you can really decorate and make feel as big or small, or any style you like. We loved working with Shannon to design a custom bar menu. The Evergreen worked wonderfully with our wedding planner service, GATHER, and all of our vendors - we had such a great team. The entire day ran so smoothly and The Evergreen made every accommodation we needed to make our perfect day come to reality! Cannot recommend the venue and staff highly enough! Our guests had such a great time!
Such an amazing experience having our wedding at Rossi Farms. Everyone said they loved the venue and how the day flowed which is all thanks to the venue and Emily. Emily was an amazing communicator and helped with all our vendors. She made sure they knew when to arrive, where to go and sent the schedule out in advance. She responded so quickly and was available whenever I needed her. She helped with set up and far exceeded my expectations, when I walked into the barn for the reception I was blown away. We credit our wedding and how amazing the day was to her. The Rossi family has amazing staff and a great venue, we recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue or a place to host an event.
The Laurelhurst club is open under new management and has had a great refurbishment.
I recently attended a wine tasting and jazz night there. The club and garden make a great space to hold events. There were about 70 guests and it was a great atmosphere.
Looking forward to coming back soon.

Favorite distillery in Maine! Delicious cocktails, awesome rum and even better service. Greeted and served by a warm and friendly lady. We started with a spiced rum cocktail served hot with ice cream- photo in my review, it was awesome!
Followed by 3 rum tastings, all good!

This was a really enjoyable venue that I’d never heard of before. I attended the #walkaway event; a very peaceful and positive group of patriots that support President Trump. The facilities were easy to access and the wide stairs leading up to the ballroom made it easy for such a large group of people to get in and out (note: elevators for ADA).
We had our annual fund raiser there & the staff, food, & environment were well set up & quite nice.
I was pleased with the staging & media screens & sound stage & lighting as well.
The surroundings made it very easy for my low vision self to acclimate & brought out the showman in me helping my performance.

The Loft at 8th was the perfect venue for our August wedding! We loved having the flexibility of an indoor/outdoor space and the location was perfect (easy parking, etc.). Coordinating with The Loft before the wedding was always easy – quick to respond to emails and provide thoughtful, clear answers.
The only hiccup we had was with the event insurance – The Loft requires a specific type of insurance coverage that our wedding planner had never heard of before. None of the large insurance companies (i.e. State Farm) would provide the coverage so we needed to use the insurance provided by VT, which ended up pushing our budget a couple hundred dollars higher than expected.
Otherwise, our wedding day was perfect – everyone was incredibly helpful and flexible. We even had a bridesmaid leave something at the venue Saturday night – when we went Sunday morning, one of the owners of VT happened to be there and he was gracious in letting us into the venue to find the item. Definitely sets the tone of customer service for his company! Thank you VT and The Loft, for helping make our wedding such a great day!

We got married here September 2018, and it was great. We had about 80 people show up for our wedding. We did our ceremony outside and the reception indoors.
Pros:
They provide all the tables and chairs, and set them up for you.
You can design the layout how you want your room set up
Across the street from Laurelhurst Park, for beautiful wedding photos
They have hookups to a great bartender if you don't have one yet. He was very friendly and affordable.
They let us leave bring our decorations the night before when we did our rehearsal, which was VERY helpful. I believe they can only accommodate this as long as they don't have another group using the space in between those times. We had to pay for an additional 2 hours to use the space for our rehearsal, which was fine.
The little outdoor ceremony area was so cute and perfect for us. So green!
The venue was very good about getting back to us with anything we needed to communicate about. Very responsive.
You can bring any catering food in you want. You do not have to use any of their preferred vendors for anything.
Cons:
If you plan to get ready there, the room is very small for the bride, and is also the only woman's restroom. No grooms room. We didn't need these anyways so it was fine.
Since the location is in a neighborhood, they do not have a parking lot so it is street parking only. I don't think my guests had a problem though, at least I didn't hear of any issues.
The venue can't be rented out too late, since it is in a neighborhood. They were able to push our wedding an hour later since it was on a Friday, which we were thankful for.
I felt like the music was not loud enough for a dance party, but of course that is because the venue is in a neighborhood.
No outdoor hanging out after the ceremony.
Overall, I really could not complain. It was such a fun day!

If you're looking for an affordable venue for a wedding, reception or any type of celebration, you should definitely check out The Laurelhurst Club in Portland.
The rental includes seating for up to 150 which they set up and break down for you. If the weather is nice, there's a nice outdoor area for a wedding ceremony. Indoor events are held all year with a stage and plenty of room for chairs to be set up and then flip the space for your reception leaving a large dance floor! Inside is a mezzanine perfect for cocktail hour! Nice lighting and large windows!
It's conveniently located right across the road from Laurelhurst Park which is a perfect backdrop for formal photos and creative shots too. The Laurelhurst Club is a historic venue and dance club. If this is what you've been dreaming of, then check them out. Once you meet the staff, you'll be sold. They are friendly, caring, and accommodating (although there are a few strict Club Rules).
I think it's just a wonderful venue and I highly recommend The Laurelhurst Club!

Attended a Artist Repertory Theater Gala Fundraiser recently and had a great time. The venue worked well for 240+ guests (including the tented area) for a sit down dinner event. Plenty of kitchen area for the catering staff and the enormous bar and the bathrooms were clean. We volunteer for ART and helped set up the venue earlier in the day and the venue was very accessible and the onsite staff very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place for a similar event.
