This my chill spot. Quite aside from kids playing. Which if that upsets you you should just stay at home anyway. Js. Staff friendly. Dressing rooms bathrooms. $5 per person for non member entry. Pool stays clean. Lifeguards on duty
Slide was dope, splash pad was cute and the pool was long enough to do laps in
This place is a hidden gem and tucked deeply away in a neighborhood community.
Beautiful facility. Well maintained, very safe.
A good place to swim it mointer by police and staff and several life guard and it have a medical detector
The water is warm and pleasant. There is plenty of room to swim and it's very kid friendly but the reason for the rating is the shower/changing/bathroom area is so disgusting that I almost turned around before even reaching the pool area.Do better Adams Park.
This place is a nice little spot for families to have a safe, fun time.
Great neighborhood pool. Attentive lifeguards. Tidal Waves summer swim program is fabulous. The coaches really pour a lot of energy and fun into the practices and the kids progress so much during the season. The swim meets are a lot of fun too. Highly recommend. All three of my kids love swimming at this pool during the summer.
Please update your pool days because it's obviously not open Tuesday.
It was beautiful 😍 and so much fun going swimming, plus the water is warm
Love the swimming pool
Very cute public pool with recently built amenities. Bonus playground right outside
Me and my kids came here at 430 they told us we had to wait so we waited 60 mins just for them to tell us it’s full again. Tyler Simmons was very rude about it and not understanding I told him he’d just made me and my kids leave the front of the line to make way for the people leaving out and he informed me that the line didn’t look close to the capacity of 50-60 ppl. Do not recommend at all!!
This place is soo awesome and fun and there's no trash in the pool or outside of it
My family had an awesome time here nice people working here. Only $5 per person would reccomend
One of our favorite spots to swim in Atlanta. Our girls have swim lessons while we work out
Drove a half hour for public swim just for someone to say oops sorry our website is wrong and the manager doesn’t care to fix it. Apparently this happens every year. Won’t be coming back due to poor management
This was my neighborhood swimming pool growing up in Southwest Atlanta in the 50's and 60's. Just like the rest of Atlanta it has become a nightmare. I'm surprised the name hasn't been changed, like all the street names in the metro area. My childhood history has been stolen from me. I can understand having Security there because of crime in Atlanta and surrounding counties. It's really a sad city.
Just no bathroom but you can drink, sell drugs, and BBQ
This is peak Neighborhood Public Pool: massive complex, diving board, lap lanes, and massive 3’ area for younger or inexperienced swimmers. We went here the entire summer, 2-3x per week, and never felt it was crowded –even on the hottest, off-school hours.
PEOPLE VISITING FOR THE FIRST TIME: CASH ONLY; $5 PER PERSON.
Four star rating because a few minor tweaks/updates would make this pool a perfect public pool option:
1). Room to improve the snack/drink offerings. Junk food is great for kid swim, but a few expanded options for older kids & adults would be a welcome addition.
2). Technology to process mobile payment. The cash-only policy is fine, but the option for another contactless or card option would surly increase the number of transactions patrons are willing to spend.
3). Membership: DO THE MATH. We opted to *not* purchase a membership as we would never match the cost per visit expense of a membership so we paid out of pocket each time.
Regardless of these nice-to-have recommendations, this pool and community that regularly attends is fantastic and we’ll continue to make Chastain Park Pool our summer go-to.

Great place to take kids because of the kiddie area . Also the park is near by to allow your kids to play peacefully and not have to worry about much .
It's okay. We used it one day and it was decently clean though some of the guests were strange people. Or maybe we were the strange ones. Definitely not one of the best kept pools in Atlanta. Probably the worst we have visited. We kept to ourselves and enjoyed the day. The oddest thing, we decided to visit again two days later and the pool was closed for the season. In early August, the hottest time of the summer, they closed for the season. Where I grew up in the northeast, we swam til October. So I'm not sure what the thinking is here but it appears all of Atlanta city pools close at the beginning of August. I simply see no reason for that as a taxpayer in a hot environment.
Love the pool and park. Clean and nice pool for the family. Life guards and lounge chair and tent to relax.
We had a nice time this summer
Lot of improvements this year, super safe and clean, very nice and serious staff who makes the pool quiet and family friendly. So sad to see the pool closing so early, it was such the best spot!
Today was bitter sweet because tomorrow is the last day they will be open until next year in the summer. As always, great atmosphere, lifeguards on point, everyone was nice. The pool felt perfect by means of temperature, not too cold or too warm. The weather was great. Overall good day. If you can make it out here tomorrow, (July 30th, 2023), you will be happy you did. The water is so clean too in case your wondering. We will miss this pool. And, we will be back next year too.
They need to update the hours. They close down the pool 30 minutes before closing time because apparently it takes 30 minutes to get people out the door. My kids would’ve had about 40 minutes to swim if it wasn’t for that. Instead they didn’t get to swim at all. Oh well, there’s better pools that close at the posted closing time and not early. Also, there’s a clear bag policy so only clear bags allowed.
City of Atlanta has a clear bag policy that they have not posted anywhere on the pools' websites. Don't bother going to any CoA run pool if you want to do something as dangerous as bringing a cooler with drinks so you don't get dehydrated on a hot summer day.
I could definitely clean the bathrooms better but other than that I love this park and this pool
Spent here my first day and I am completely happy! The water is clean, not crowded, guards on their duty.
I am happy with this place.
I saw some people complain the water is nasty, I cant say that, well you might see some leaves in water but, trees gives you shade too. Think its natural. Other words I recommend this place. For public swimming pool its good enough)

Very large pool for the community to enjoy. The pool is clean. Spacious bathrooms and common areas are available. Common areas include bathrooms, lockers, and showers. The area is clean and doesn't smell. Kudos to the parks & rec staff for providing a fun, safe, and clean community space.
Second time going to this pool in my life and I grew up in the area. They have an area on the hill to go in the pool entrance where other cars were parked. So I parked. I also have a handicap plaque in my car yet they do not have handicap parking area. Everything was going well until a police officer came into the pool area telling everyone if you're parked on the hill you have to move your car because it's for employees only and if you don't move your car will be ticketed and towed. However, there is No sign at all stating Employees Only Parking, or a Do Not Enter Sign so cars won't park there, or even a NO Parking Sign. You have police in uniform parked in their personal vehicles for what reason I don't know but for myself it was wrong. If the park doesn't want vehicles to park there then there should be signs stating so. My son I left and I don't think I will be returning. There's no telling how many other people they have done like that.
Never will visit until a new manager is there! You can’t bring juice or snacks for the kids inside the pool. They Only allowed the kids a small time to swim before kicking them out explaining that they have to let another crowd inside. Police officers smoking while on duty in front of the children they need to do better
Went with my wife a few weeks ago. This pool is an amazing chill vibe. Taking my son w/ me for father’s day today can’t wait
They close the pool early everyday, they open and close when they feel like it. The employees are getting free city money until 8:00pm and the pool closes everyday at 6:00pm
I originally posted a very negative review. Since I posted that review Candler Park pool has acquired a new staff. They have completely redone the entire pool. I took my daughter there the other day and it was by far the cleanest it has ever been. The lifeguards were more diligent and doing their jobs while allowing us to have the freedom to be able to enjoy our time. The very long breaks every 45 minutes have stopped and even the bathrooms were surprisingly clean. The Cameron Park pool has done a complete 180° turn around
We held our rainbow picnic here and it was absolutely gorgeous and fun!!
The lifeguard was not very attentive. We were there at 3 PM. She stayed on her phone and ate snacks. Kiddie pool wasn’t even in use. The main pool seemed to be pretty dirty. 10 out 10 would not recommend. City definitely need to do better.
Regardless of the rudness from the young girl in the beginning I had so much fun with my extended family .❤
I rate Grant Park Pool a zero, because the big pool's water was nasty, and kid pool was dirty with nasty water. They staff have a hour to have cleaning time for the pool which is From 4:00pm to 5:00pm And I don't see nothing that they clean out of the pool. Trash, Bugs,, lots of Leaves and everything still be at the bottom of the pool! Something in the pool water Bit my big toe causing it to swell. I also seen a group of teens jump a boy right outside the pool where people and others was having family time with their kids...SMH, Me and my family will never go swimming their again. Hate that I had to even give it one star just to do a Review👎🏾 This is an update for 06/25/2022
Went to the pool at noon. Saw an employee adding what smelled like chlorine to the pool. Left and came back 30 minutes later. Pool still not open. Had to wait until pool was "clear". About 12:50 we were able to enter. As I walked around the pool, I could see chemical residue by the edges of the pool. I could definitely smell the "chlorine" in the air. I got in the shallow area designed for kids. I felt it was safe due to the water being pumped through the large water toys and I didn't see any build up in that area. I did see trash. A used straw and other stuff. Definitely had a lot of there things not typically found in a pool like rubber bands, hair ties, braids and sunflower seed shell. YUCK. I guess that is why so much chlorine. I didn't submerge my face. My eyes burned just sitting poolside. I checked to see if the pumps were were working to move the water through the filter system. They were not. So does that mean. People or just in a big chlorine bath?
Wow! What a oasis in the city! This community pool is stunning! We got in at 11:30am and it was very quiet. The pool was crystal clear and very warm. Lots of room to swim and play. It has a beach like walk in for younger kids and plenty of places to sit on the sides of the pool. There was a fun lazy river and a whirlpool part too. My kids had so much fun swimming! There are 4 swim lanes and a grassy area off the side for lounging or playing games. There is a concession stand where you can order hot food you can purchase as well as cold items such as soda, frozen lemonade and smoothies. Plenty of seating but tables with umbrellas go fast so getting there early is a huge plus!
The lifeguards are young and some very unattenttive. Please keep an eye on your children because I did not have a lot of confidence in their abilities. I'm not including them in my rating, only the pool itself! I will say the lady at the front desk was very nice and greeted us like we were old friends! We parked in the garage at Piedmont and walked down, only 10 minutes and the car stayed cool, which was great on a summer day! For $10 for about 6 hours in the city, it was a great deal!
The pool was only $5 a person. This was a great way to cool off on a 100° day!

We had so much fun at this pool. Open to the public most days. They also have their own swim team!
Terrific space for recreational swimming or those who want to swim laps. Plenty of lanes, well maintained, and friendly staff.
Can swim under canopy to get outside feel and good airflow or in direct sun.

A great place for family and friends enjoyed keep up the great work 😌
My kids enjoyed they self will be coming back soon!!!!!!!better than maddox park pool
Surprisingly, Two very nice courts. No cracks!!! On one end of the courts is a cinder block wall you can hit on. The courts have lights but one side of the far court has a light out. Bring a broom or blower to clear off the courts from acorns falling from the trees.
Wow on Sundays this is the place to be. Great food, music 🎶 layered back and enjoy. See all the beautiful Bikes 🏍 and of course get your drink on. Sell and buy different products. But one thing I must tell you " You Have To be EARLY EARLY" in order to get a good parking space and I mean EARLY. See tou all there.
Nice swimming pool in the middle of piedmont park. We loved the small lazy river. Check their website for member/general admission. We arrived during the member swim time and had to wait for general admission time, so we ended up getting food at the snack bar in front of the pool. Sometimes there can be a wait to get in, but it's never been too long for us.
Always a good time being an alumni of Washington Hiigh..love to go to all reunions...now I bring my kids
My experience at candler park pool was borderline ok, to begin one of the two life guards was very nice and welcoming while the other was making jokes and heckling family and friends like why do you have to test the pool every 30 mins “no reason”. My friends and I were then made fun of because our garb and skin color/jewelry. Bathrooms are 🤮 disgusting 🤢
It was my first time here. Enjoyed it so much. The restrooms are kept clean as can possibly be. I like how they have an “adult swim” session each hour. I like that there are lifeguards there to keep the kids safe. And most importantly, the water is clean and they check the water every hour. To all the staff there, thank you for all you do.
it was terrible, they didn’t tell us nothing about why we where waiting and they had THREE people inside the pool and was making us wait an hour for us to go in make it make since. And the police where just sitting there. and lastly it says 12:30 and it was 3:00 sooooo how sway?
The splash pad and slides are closed for maintenance but the rest of the pool is nice. Bring your own chair because the loungers are not put out because of COVID.
The deepest part is 5.5ft

Beautiful pool! Clean and safe. I love that you need to make reservations. Keeps the crowd down.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Be Patient, and Ready to possibly wait!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Upon entry, you aren’t gaining entry until someone leaves, due to Limited Capacity. So you could wait for 30 minutes to an 1-hour. The water slides aren't available for use. They do have security(not so friendly/you will be searched) and the park, which are decently clean. Bring a foldable chair, with an umbrella, seating is VERY limited.
I've never seen so much black beauty/ black love in one place. I loved everything about going here on Saturday. Great vibes, music, food and family. Everyone acting in an adult manner... it was a beautiful day and i would def go back. The park is huge and well put.
Our First Annual Lillie's Reunion Was Amazing!!!!! Looking Forward To Next Year's Celebration!!!!!!
Great place for local ATLiens to relax and exercise...Looks like this is the best spot for those who like less people & more park
i was wondering if the pool is 50 meters long
I only went by the lake...it was beautiful but the water needs cleaning
Splash splash doggy bash is a must see and do the last day of the season.
Incident at the pool. Disrespectful and unresponsive lifeguards. Just an injury waiting to happen with such poor customer service from American Pools, the subcontractors hired by the City of Atlanta Parks & Recreation. The entire staff particularly the Supervisor on that day ( August 7, 2019 between 1:00 and 3:00 pm) needs to be fired. And yes! I have contacted the department's CEO for a face to face meeting. Very concerning issues at Adams Park. Wish I had snapped photos but it wasn't safe. Such a lovely park and pool, too, if only the City would take the care of it that I've seen in other city run facilities like Candler Park and Piedmont Park.
So much fun! The lifeguards are on point and watching out for the safety of everyone. The splash pad is also awesome!
Great pool with on site life guards. There is a nice friendly atmosphere and snacks are available for purchase.
In regards to the pool- it consist of three distinct areas: diving/deep pool, lap pool, general pool. The only issue I have had is that my children somehow always end up with a cut on their toes.

Was here for the free shot with Lifeline. Never been to this park. Seem like a nice place. Have to come back just to visit
Honestly the prettiest and nicest and cleanest pool in Atlanta and it has very friendly staff were always very helpful as well it has a nice Grill to get different snacks and Foods while you're sitting by the pool the pool also includes a lazy river a whirlpool and a beach style easy entry with handicap access
This is a beautiful pool to visit. I took younger children, because of the zero depth entry. I was a little disappointed because the lifeguards were allowing a lot of rough play by older kids in the water. We went on a summer weekday, and it seemed like a summer camp was attending the pool. The locker/changing rooms are clean and easily accessible. There is also a small splash pad area and tables for with umbrellas for sitting. They do have a snack window for purchase of snacks and we brought our own.
This is the pool where I train during the summer months. It's nice because there are actually 3 pools and the main training pool is covered by a large tent so there is plenty of shade. The other 2 pools have lanes but are mainly for family play and are in full sun. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the large pool is only 25 yards and not 50 meters. The location and staff more than make up for it.
It's free to enter. There is a separate kiddie pool and a little water spray Park area. It's great for kids under 5 as well as older kids too. I wish it was a little cleaner.
Great my kids had lots of fun
This is one of the best parks in Atlanta to have a family reunion or a B B Que with friends.
Fun and quiet
I love the way the life gaurds are on point they don't move they stay where they suppose to be
They laughed as they reduce rates a young man Idk if it was test by I wouldn't pay 5$ per child to have young teenagers who think everything is funny as lifeguards smh never return
Nice when it's open. Hard to find shade since it's just a fenced in concrete pad essentially. A bit retro but clean and well maintained. Staff is nice but the pricing seems to be made up off the tops of the teenager lifeguards minds.. Definitely worth a visit but don't plan on lounging around since it's all pavement and there's about 5 chairs that people always have claimed. It's more of a family place too for sure - definitely don't intend to party here. Worth a visit in the summer.
This community space offers three, THREE, different pools. Pretty dang impressive for a public club. There's a shallow pool for younger kids, a pool with lanes for swimming laps, and a deep pool with a diving board. Deck accommodations include chaise chairs and umbrellaed tables. The people who run the place are responsible and diligent about safety without coming across as rude. In the spring, they run a kids swimming program which competes against other area pools. You can get a season membership or pay per visit. A great escape from the heat regardless of your age. #Buckhead #Swimming #CannonBallContest
