Springville Library is a very nice and we'll maintained space for all ages.

There is ample comfortable seating, which is a big plus for a library. Great for small groups to meet quietly, get some work done, read it socialize. Another big feature is the floor-to-ceiling windows which bring in a ton of natural light, and the interior design, with glass-walled computer and meeting rooms, allows the light to carry through the whole structure.

There are computers in several places, including a quiet computer lab (one of the glass-walled rooms). I have to say, the internet (desktop) and wifi speeds are both pretty slow, and there weren't very many people using computers this morning.

While lacking the big "pop" kids play attraction, there is a large book collection, small play spaces, and some computers for kid use.

The teen space is somewhat smaller, in comparison to the other areas of the library. If you have a teen, you know they can be kinda loud, and like to have their "own space", to some degree.

I live the outdoor terrace along the Hobble Creek. It is a wonderful place to sit outside and read or socialize. There is a nice bridge across the Creek to a small park (which needs some improvements), where you can walk down to the water.

The Springville Library is a great place, among the best assets in the area.

A wonderful and fun statue in a stately location
The Building Museum Shop is easily one of the better ones in DC. It features a wide selection of books regarding architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, building materials, and history. It also features gifts, postcards, t-shirts, and other appropriate items of interest to those visiting the Museum.
John Marshall Park is dedicated to one of the most prolific public servants in U.S. History. The Park features a Statue of Chief Justice Marshall, seating, sculptures, and small fountains. The park could use some upkeep and freshening up, but it is a welcome place for a short visit, or to linger and eat your lunch.
