Old Nelson Food Market

Foods I was looking for were either on the shelves or an associate stopped what he was doing and found a similar item for me to purchase. The cashier allowed me to use a shopping bag to gather and make purchases while my custom hoagie was being made. I also purchased fresh fruits and cheese here. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will shop here again.🎒
Voyage of Ulysses

Terrific use of space. Table and bench seating are well positioned and more than adequate for this space. The water sculpture’s name is not clearly marked and the work itself does not adequately convey Ulysses Voyage. It is however quite engaging with plenty of room to submerse oneself in it. The ambiance of flowing water adds dimension to this sculpture and at certain angles it is as if Ulysses arm is molded in steel; breaking through its undulating flow of water. That non-ebbing flow of water and shining metal clad arm openly declare unyielding power. This site is well worth the visit. James A Byrne US Courthouse #LetsGuide 76 North Sixth Street Philadelphia

Such fun and brilliance under one roof is unprecedentedly entertaining! Exhibits’ Entry is free! The people are knowledgeable and love answering questions. This is a brainiac moment to live for!
Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial

I went for a walk with my husband after dinner at a fine restaurant. Night had already fallen and we literally stumbled upon this park as we headed toward the riverfront. I do not know if there is a designated entrance because it felt more like we simply crossed busy streets and empty sidewalks. We were not prepared for a memorial, especially one of this magnitude.
My father and my step-father both served during Vietnam. I remember going to Washington DC and seeing the wall for the first time. The emotional surge upon reaching the walled courtyard was much the same. I regret not knowing the area well enough to have had my first experience with the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial in daylight.

CAVA

I smelled the aroma out on the street while walking. A person standing guard to entry of a private party assured me the place was CAVA. I was surprised but went in.
These people know food and how to treat customers. All the right stuff is here for you. Whole grains; fresh vegetables; well-crafted sauces and hummus are in abundance for dinner and lunch.
I bought the harissa honey chicken mixed with grilled chicken. Spinach greens and tomatoes, sides of hummus and feta with olives and everything good available.I requested a take-away side of harissa chicken and am already trying to think of how to eat it later.
Extremely hard to give 5-stars until today! Try the ginger beer. It’s good.
