Al Basha Mediterranean Grill
Wanted to beat the crowds and walked here from the market! I am not entirely dissatisfied, however, I will say the Gyros were less than stellar and I was a little disappointed to find that out haha. The bread was a bit like a pancake, flat, dry, and very dense, perhaps a little over cooked? And the amount of lettuce I had to take off just so I could taste the lamb was ridiculous.
The Greek fries, however? Those were absolutely amazing, and highly suggest those to anyone stopping here. Covered in some sort of oramgush sauce and cilantro, I absolutely demolished those, and was quite please afterwards.
The restaurant is quite quaint, quite, and perhaps a little uninviting with its darkish interior. Staff was pleasant, but a little unattentive despite me being the only person there. Drinks consist of canned sodas and bottled water!
Worth stopping at? Not positive, but the fries were indeed very memorable.
