Try to go for Spring (cherry blossom) or early Fall. Norwuz time should be great because not only you’ll see the gorgeous blossoms 🌸, but also downtown Tehran should be light on traffic then.

There are locks at the entrance for your personal belongings. There are multiple hidden corners to the left when you enter, be sure to catch them.

Definitely great for photoshoots. I recommend around sunset 🌅 or maybe noon in spring. 😊

At the national garden complex (باغ ملی), this museum is highly recommended for a visit as the exterior and interior design and architecture are very unique from the other buildings in the complex.

No reservations or tickets, at least when I visited in Nov). They have lockers for your personal items at the entrance.

In one room, they have a gallery outlining THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF PERSIA/Iran! Really gives you a big picture of Middle East in the past 3000 years!

It’s as if you traveled time to 80 years ago! It’s a living museum. You’ll definitely get a taste of old Tehran.

A must visit. Try to go with a guide because there is so much history, the castle has layers and areas of residence. 😍🤍🇮🇷
