Kiki On The River
I booked a reservation for 6 on a Friday night at 10:00 PM to celebrate my birthday. As a courtesy, I called the restaurant to advise them we’re on the way and may be late because of a few accidents on the highway. Arrive at 10:16 pm and was told my reservation is at 10:30 pm which means the hostess changed my reservation time! We were advised to check in and since we’re “early” we’d be told when our table is ready via text. We waited for almost an hour and at 11:20 pm we were never seated and was over it at that point. I proceeded to the hostess and requested my cake that we dropped off and headed to the valet to retrieve my car. I guess the manager was advised of the situation and approached us to try and make things right.
After much thought, I didn’t want to ruin my night so we decided to stay. We were FINALLY seated and proceeded to order our food. The service we received once seated was nice but felt as though it was only a result of us trying to leave after our frustration.
The ambiance for photography is nice and the DJs music seemed to only cater to a certain crowd. It was a one time experience for me and I would not be returning. Thank you to the manager for making it right but they need to do better with their reservations especially because they charge you for a last minute cancellation.
