I walked away feeling very sad at the state of this park. There used to be a tennis court but it is severely vandalized and unusable. The playgrlund equipment is very old and hasn't been properly maintained. There are weeds everywhere. I know this is a poorer neighborhood but it's sad the city doesn't want to put more money into this once-beautiful park to have it maintained.

We visited the Moore Turner Heritage gardens. It was a very steep climb up the steps which weren't all paved so make sure you bring some good shoes. Nice view of Spokane at the top. Definitely not stroller friendly.
