This area is nice. It was an easy walk right across the street from Central Park. The views of Columbus Circle are great from upstairs. The mall is very clean with nice big public restrooms. There are some unique stores and some restaurants. We didn't find what we were looking for and thought the variety of stores was a little lacking, but it was a great atmosphere and we enjoyed checking it out.

The guacamole was good. ($15 for a small dish of it.) The water was cold. The table was available immediately, compared to a 30 minute wait where we tried to go first. The food truly was not very good. We ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was so gross and chewy I had to spit it out in my napkin. The tortillas were obviously from a plastic package and smelled and tasted as such. The chips tasted like they came from a cheap grocery store bag. We didn't care for the salsa. Overall, we would Definitely not return. We were tired and just wanted to leave without a fuss but our food was pretty gross,in particular the chicken fajitas. We are used to fresh salsas, chips and tortillas so it was a real disappointment. The atmosphere outside was nice on a pleasant fall evening and the staff was polite.
This is a great area within Central Park. We loved the cute benches and railings made of repurposed branches. The pathway was comfortable and soft under foot, made with compressed wood chips. The views and lookout points all offer different beautiful views and perspectives. The paths are well maintained and we did see some wildlife. (Birds, squirrels) The native landscaping and flowers were lovely. We will definitely be back!
This is our favorite park in the area. The beautiful trees and open spaces are serene and relaxing. The walking trails are nicely maintained and varied. The bathroom facilities are always clean and in good repair. The picnic table areas are nice. We even had a little birthday gathering for our daughter at a pavilion one year and there's no extra cost, just first come first serve. There was plenty of space. The whole place is picturesque and provides a lovely backdrop for photos. There are pretty plants and flowers throughout as well as a fountain and charming historic house. It's definitely worth a visit for a relaxing stroll!
