This is the 2nd time I have stumbled upon this little oasis. Last time in 1990 ! My wife lived here for 30 years and this was her first time enjoying this haven. Cake 👍. Coffee👍. Curryworst n bun👍. Prices 👍.
Lots of friendly little and big people and dogs ! We shall revisit hopefully sooner than the last time.
Friends brought us here right after they picked us up at the airport and it was a fantastic welcome to Hamburg ! The food was great and the ambiance excellent with friendly service.
Simply amazing. One of Munich’s very special places. The tulips are coming to an end but we’re still resplendent yesterday. Seniors entrance fee = €4. We will go back and explore other areas of it. There is a nice restaurant in the middle. On a sunny weekend I would recommend getting there early. It is very convenient for us to get there by streetcar. Nice interactive area for kids to make paper. The people involved with this are doing a great job. Bravo !!
At just over 3 kilometres this is a lovely urban / nature walk. We started by the washrooms (thank you for this amenity) and went clockwise. You have a choice. Going this direction you are on a mostly downward slope until you get to the stairs which is definitely get the ticker going ! Or you could go counterclockwise and it’s down the ( couple of hundred ) stairs and a long gradual uphill. Many thanks to the people that built this gem !
We were there about three weeks ago and Google maps said that they were open but they were not. I’m sorry I should’ve edited it but completely forgot. Even though the doors were closed it’s still a very nice area to walk around in and it’s not far to the village itself. You could actually park in Steveston and walk there and if you’re really ambitious you can walk all the way to the Massey tunnel. Or Bicycle. With nice weather it’s very pleasant. Bring some sandwiches and your favourite beverage- enjoy !
