Despite its many guises over the last 20 years (The Wild ...etc); this venue has always had very reliable food and service ... On my most recent visit; the service was a standout - Despite the full house inside, Glen gave us a warm welcome and led our group to the ornate and pleasantly kitschy first floor dining room 🥂

The retail embodiment of the old idiom 'don't judge a book by it's cover' ... whilst situated in the most run down area of the Melbourne CBD; this no-frills restaurant and bar offers tasty rustic meals and cheap quaffable happy hour booze ... Of equal contrast to its location; is the unusually happy and accommodating table service👌

Surprisingly serene cycling and walking area along the Hudson River and Upper Westside of Manhattan ... The pathways are flat and in relatively good condition - there are restrooms & a few great Riverside cafes nearby ... Well worth a wander or picnic if you have an hour or two to spare 👌
