A Mesmerizing Experience: Unveiling the Hidden Marvels
This remarkable attraction left me in awe! I wholeheartedly endorse seeking out a knowledgeable guide or delving into your own reading and research to fully appreciate the intricate details woven into this place. Beyond its sheer beauty, there’s a fascinating blend of mathematics, meticulous planning, and rich cultural context.
During my visit, our guide was exceptional, enhancing the experience with their insights. I managed to secure a tour package from Cancun for a reasonable $58, considering that the regular entry fee is $39. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend investing in skip-the-line tickets; trust me, there’s an abundance of captivating sights waiting to be explored! 🌟🌎
Now, let’s delve into some practical tips to make the most of your visit:
Arrive Early: To truly savor the magic of this place, set your alarm clock and arrive early. The tranquility of the morning hours allows you to absorb the grandeur without the hustle and bustle of crowds. Plus, you’ll beat the scorching heat that descends later in the day.
Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: The sun can be relentless, and shade is a rare commodity. Be prepared by carrying a sturdy water bottle. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself as you sip cool water while marveling at the intricate architecture.
Sun Protection: Don your favorite wide-brimmed hat, slather on sunscreen, and wear lightweight, breathable clothing. The heat can be stifling, and there’s not much shade to seek refuge under.
Remember, this place isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a living testament to human ingenuity and cultural heritage. So, go forth, explore, and let the wonders of this site leave an indelible mark on your soul! 🌄🌿🌞

Elizabeth Street Garden

A small but beautiful garden in the midst of the hustle and grind of Soho. Statues stay watch in this serene escape from the craziness that the city brings. You can immediately feel a sense of calm as you pass through the gates into this little beautiful getaway.
There is seating spattered throughout the park and it is a beautiful place just to sit, sip a coffee and get lost in a daydream.

Tacos El Gordo

This food was ridiculously good and it shows by how jam packed it was! Do not be discouraged by the line out the door because the food was SO worth it. It is the best Al Pastor and the mulas that I got was amazing! I highly recommend it!
From the time we entered the line to when we were sitting down to eat was about 1-1.5 hours.
It really helps if you go with multiple people as once you get inside there are multiple different lines for the different types of meat. Best approach is to have someone go in each of the lines to get the different meats and fries that you want. All of the tacos are made fresh to order at the counter. Once you have all your food, you go to a corner counter to pay.
Seating can be hard to find and there were people everywhere, but there is lots of turn over with the number of orders that they turn out.

Row 34

Row 34 is a great dining experience in the fabulous Seaport district. We went to Row 34 for dinner on a recent trip and it was bustling but not overly noisy which was great.
We ordered the “Smoked & Cured Board” and the Shellfish tower. The pates were delicious. The all of the seafood in shellfish tower was super fresh but lacked some salt and there was no mignonette, only cocktail sauce. The chips were not crispy either. But otherwise the food was great.
We had asked for a take home box of a couple things and our waitress said no problem and went to pack them up as she brought our bill. Unfortunately she never brought them back and it slipped out mind as well before we had left.
Overall good experience and worth a visit.

Beach park Surrey

Beautiful little green space with lots of rocks and logs to explore. There is a gravel path running along the waterfront and beach to north of the park. The beach (and whole area) is very family friendly with lots of little kids playing and building sandcastles.
There is also a beach volleyball court available.
There are no washrooms at this park - you need to go either to Beecher Place (to the south) or to the Blackie Spit parking lot.
Parking in the summer can be very difficult to find, especially Friday - Sunday.
