Newport Sand Beach
Awesome place for the family. Not so great on 4th of July 2022...the areas all around the park neighborhood was no parking from July 4th to 6th..the paper signs sticks all over...so you either had to go back home from long travel or pay for parking... my parking tab was 27 dollars. So for that particular day...they remove all the beach chairs...under the cabana umbrellas and also it seems they turn off the water pipe in the sand area...so there's NO WATER allowed in the sand area now... how can the children make sand castle or anything for that matter with loose dry sand...you can't even dig a mini hole without the sand caving in..not fun without water for kids.

Guess the park is okay. Not really much to do.
The jungle gym area for children was fine for my 2 year old. Wish there was more to do. But it definitely had somethings that was not available at my neighborhood parks. Even though it's much smaller and dirtier.
