Village Park Basketball Side

The basketball side has a big playground, an outdoor gym, swings, and walking/biking trails that are connected to the Lawrenceville Hopewell Trail. There is also a covered gazebo by the basketball court with bathrooms.
Great for families!

Cute little park in downtown Lawrenceville. There are two "free libraries" near the gazebo. Several local artists' sculptures are on display. During the summer, the park hosts live music and food credits on Thursdays.

I'm not a gardener there but I love to visit friends that have been gardening there for years. The plots are nicely sized. It's really cool to see all the different approaches to growing plants.
There is a pasture next to the gardens where sheep roam. In the Spring we always see baby lambs.

We live nearby so we like to walk here almost every day. This park has everything. Long paved walking trails, two playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, field for soccer, baseball, and lacrosse, and a new outdoor gym with some basic workout equipment.

On Fridays they have a farmer's market that is open late, at least until 8 or 8:30 which is when I visited. It's such a treat to find a market open this late. There are less than a dozen vendors but there's still a good variety: organic veggies, coffee roasters, baked goods, handmade jewelry and more.
