Lady Ace

I come here often for lunch as I work close by. They recently redid the eating area and made it more open and spacious. They have a fountain machine for refills with fun cream soda flavors.

The service can be hit and miss. Most of the time, there are almost no one in line and the cashier is nowhere to be found. I would have to wait a few minutes before someone came to take my order.

I ordered the fried chicken bowl with mac and cheese. The bowl was huge and very filling. I was able to get two servings out of it. The mac and cheese was heavy and very filling. It was a bit greasy but, overall tasty. The fried chicken was tasty and well seasoned. I was bit disappointed that it wasn't chicken breast but chicken thigh meat. I would have rather chicken breast as it was better.

I have been to this location a few times but mostly recently I ordered lunch and did a pick up here. I ordered a Southern Chix Sandwich and Sweet Fries for pick up. Even though I placed my order for pickup almost an hour before picking up, it still wasn't ready. I went into the restaurant and it took almost 7 minutes before someone acknowledged me and I had to stop them and tell them I was there for pick up.

The chicken sandwich was big and delicious. It was a bit burnt but I didn't mind. The thing that annoyed me and I forgot to take a photo of, is that the bun had a giant hole in it. Did someone pick up the pieces of mold from, did a rat chew off that piece? Like why would you give someone that piece of bread instead of just throwing it away?

I ordered sweet fries and got regular fries. My coworker had ordered truffle fries and their order came out fine. If they ran out of sweet fries, they could have said something. So annoying! Communication is definitely important.

The restaurant has ample seating area inside and outside. The outside seating area is by a public park. The restaurant does happy hour and lunch specials.

I come here often to pick up boba pearls and tasty snacks. The store is filled with tasty treats. It's clean and organized but, it's on the smaller side compared to other stores in the area. The staff here can be hit or miss. Sometimes, they tolerate your presence and other times, they are just downright rude. One of the staff members walked right into me like I wasn't even there.

Farabe and I came here after dinner to get some goodies for home. The store was spacious but, the layout was a bit confusing. I needed to get ketchup and took me forever to find. The store isn't the cleanest looking and the meat department has an unpleasant stench. However, they have decent prices and they have a white cat walking around.

This supermarket is super disgusting. Before they opened Wegman's this was the only supermarket in this area but, thank god people have better options. They store veggies in old milk gallon jugs and I seen moldy produce that looks like its been there for a while. The supermarket is old and has this unpleasant scent. The cashier are usually rude and impatient.
