One of the best state parks in Texas.

You can get a paddle boat, bring your boat. Nice big trees. People are nice. The place is not crowded.
The campsites are great.

If you're visiting Dallas and not taking a walk by this beautiful lake at the heart of the town, you're definitely going to miss a great opportunity. There are a number of parking spots, but during peak hours like the evening, you may experience some difficulties finding parking. Take some time to observe the beauty of the lake.

Nice and clean park. Enough parking. Nice playground for kids. Volleyball ground for adults. Picnic spot. Well-maintained grass and lake.

The staff at the reception was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, and they kindly allowed me to extend my stay by an hour. However, I have to rate it lower due to the condition of the carpet in the room, which was in need of improvement. Additionally, there was a slight uncomfortable odor in the room, and walking on the carpet resulted in our feet becoming dirty.

You can get an incredibly close view of the falls from here. Unlike the commercialized recreational area on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, this place isn’t solely focused on business. Here, you can conveniently park your car for only $10. Visiting this island is truly a remarkable experience, and it would be a great loss if someone doesn’t take the opportunity to see it.
