Went with family of 4 for lunch, we all chose the Ebisu Business Lunch ($45/person). Selection of two appetizers were delicious, very fresh sashimi, especially the sea bass. Ribeye (cooked rare) was my favorite main course, there’s a $19 surcharge for the ribeye and black cod, so be aware. Wish the business lunch could include a desert, but had to add $9 for the desert.
Overall, the food quality was great and atmosphere was pleasant. You can also opt in for the $35 lunch option if you are on a budget.

Seven Brothers Diner

Great local vibe on a Sunday brunch, lots of patrons with filled parking lot. Service was fast and courteous, probably owned by seven brothers from the namesake.
Priced very reasonably, and offers not only brunch, but lunch and dinner as well. Food was authentically American, loved the buttonless coffee (with cream). Must get the home fries, delicious. Mexican omelette with the spicy kick is any 🥵 lover’s choice.
Overall, a must stop for anyone passing by Yonkers. You know it’s good when all the locals come!

Amorino Gelato - Cambridge Harvard Square

Always walk past by it and never gone in, finally today, given the nice weather, I decided to this flowery place a try.
The first special thing about this gelato place is that they allow you to get as many toppings as you want. That was a nice surprise.
Had mango, melone and strawberry on the cone. The fruit gelato tasted just like real fruits, especially the mango.
The only down side is the cone, it was a bit hard and tasteless. Didn’t end up finish the cone at all.
Overall, it’s a very good looking gelato ice cream, tasty fruit flavors, and mediocre cone.

Two large pots: the military bowl and the beef intestine bowl. Not being a fan of animal intestines, the reviews from other patrons gave a 3.5 🌟 for that bowl; but the military bowl was pretty subpar, no much veggies, the spam was over cooked, and missing some ingredients I had in other Korean restaurant with the same bowl. The rice cake and tofu was tasty, that earned a 4 ⭐️.
One more thing, this is the first Korean restaurant where we only received 3 small dishes accompanied with our dishes. Usually it’s between 5-10 dishes per order. Much improvements can be done on that front.
Staff were friendly and place was clean. I wouldn’t be going back for the second time given the pierce competition of Korean restaurants in the area.

Koreana

Reluctant to re-visit Koreana after a subpar dining experience here a few years back despite being minutes walking from home. Second time around, the place is still the same, but food improved. Especially the raw beef sashimi appetizer was very refreshing since it was sliced from frozen meat. Rice cake in my kimchi soup was a pleasant surprise since not many Korean restaurants do that, although I did wish there were more tofu in the soup. Also, the soup bowl with fuel to light up with to keep it hot and boiling was very nice as well. Response from other dining mates of their dishes were positive as well.
I’d say the verdict has definitely changed for the better, and it’s worth trying if you live close by.
