Calaveras Cantina

The food is to die for… I would like to highlight the black bean tacos in particular. The earthy flavor of the beans combined with the tangy sauces create the perfect taco! The street corn was also absolutely delicious. The darker ambiance is fun and service is very quick. The only downside is the cost. Especially for the small size, $5.50 for a single taco is quite high.
Empire Fulton Ferry

Iconic and simply stunning views of the skyline. I especially enjoy this spot because it offers a panorama of the Brooklyn Bridge and all of Lower Manhattan. Come during the afternoon - shop and eat in DUMBO and enjoy the carousel before relaxing here for sunset and nighttime views.
Le Botaniste
2023 Feb 01
We gave Le Botaniste a try because it is a 100% vegan restaurant, perfect for vegans and vegetarians in the city. The Tibetan Mama bowl was great! It was flavorful and diverse in color and texture - the kimchi contrasted delightfully with the curry. On the other hand, the soup of the day was bland and honestly quite sad. The food here is a mixed bag, but I still recommend you give it a try!
Survivor Tree

A true symbol of American resilience - this tree survived the attacks on the Twin Towers. It is a captivating and must-visit part of the Ground Zero area.
The Fearless Girl

The Fearless Girl is a more iconic statue in the city. She stands up courageously, facing the New York Stock Exchange. The statue forces you to reflect about society and its values - and is a great photo-op too!
