TOURIST TRAP! Firstly I put myself in the situation, we didn't plan things properly and couldn't find any veg food in milan around 11PM. (There was a McDonald's right next door but they had no vegetarian options). This place was open and we went inside without checking the reviews. The waiter was very friendly, but didn't want us to see the menu. But I insisted, he finally gave it and the prices were exorbitant. Because we were desperate for food we still ordered. But when the bill came, he said he doesn't accept cards. I had to send my girlfriend alone to hunt for an ATM. Meanwhile I saw someone paying with a card. I started arguing with him until he finally let me pay.

So overall, they aren't doing anything illegal, but it's a tourist trap.

A smaller lounge compared to the one in Frankfurt. No call rooms or workstations like in Frankfurt. The selection of food and beverages (including beer and spirits) are as expected. Overall an okay place to spend the transit time. The cost for entry is 39EUR if you are not a business class flyer or a frequent flyer

PSA: If you are flying out of "B Gates" please get your food and drinks from the main terminal area. Because these folks have planned these gates so poorly that there is only one place to get food and they have a monopoly. They charge you so much more than any other shop in the entire terminal. And it's not even a restaurant, it is a kiosk with frozen sandwiches. Please plan ahead and don't fall prey to their predatory pricing.

Otherwise, the airport is well staffed but still poorly managed. When security wait is long, you could spend 45 mins in the queue and someone in a red shirt will come and open the barrier and let people behind you into the front (I am not talking about Priority lane) and you would be foolish to have waited so long.

A good airport caters to all the travellers equally and won't have such disparities in quality of service at different areas.
