Old-fashioned train station which is a good starting point to ride the train to see the Wang Pho Viaduct Bridge about two stops or 20 minutes away. There isn’t much around the train station except for a small cafe/restaurant across the parking lot. The station has a lot of character and is well maintained. It costs THB 100 for foreigners and THB 3 for Thais to ride the train to Wang Pho.

A nice western style bar in Yangon. The food is good and the drinks are cheap. I tried the HPL (Harry's Premium Lager) which was very smooth and crisp. My group came around 6 pm on a weekday and all the tables outside were already full or reserved.
