Lovely part of the foreshore here with plenty of keen spaces for kids to play.
There is a lovely small playground for kids. Located along the foreshore walking
trail, you can access via car, walking or bike.
There is a bench located near the large tree so shady days!
Toilets aren’t too far. Dogs allowed on leash. Plenty of foodie places nearby. Fabulous views across the bay and over to Melbourne
Spectacular flat walking trail along the waterline. Swans, seagulls, people walking dogs, kids playing and so much more. Ferguson Pier is also a great place to visit. There is a playground. Toilets. Parking is good but $5 per hour. Disabled friendly. Places to eat nearby.

My partner couldn’t stop raving about this place from his many visits to New York and despite an abundance of good Italian places to eat in Mulberry Street, I bowed to his judgement and dined in.
Spaghetti and meatballs for him, Veal Cardinale for me (which translates to veal scallopine with prosciutto, roasted red peppers and mozzarella in light tomato and wine sauce.
But first - the bread. A slightly pizza ish bread that had a snappy tang, served with butter -oh I do love Italian food. We chose a bottle of George Wyndham Shiraz 2015 which had a rich flavour that was about to complement the meal beautifully.
Our meals arrived and the portion sizes were perfect for our appetite.
We met the owner Pellegrino and he shared some of his story and time in New York.
An all round great meal for our last night in the city that never sleeps.
Notes: dine in or outside under cover, vegetarian choices available, kid friendly, wheelchair accessible, staff were efficient and friendly.

We will return.
I do so love pizza and have eaten it all around the world. One of the best places was Beijing in 1985. Yesterday we had another great pizza this time in the East Village at East Village Pizza. Not being too hungry, I had a slice and my partner had two.
Fabulous crust, not too thick or thin. Plenty of toppings without everything falling off. We are in and sat inside watching New York go by.
Notes: great service, wheelchair accessible, kids will love it, dietaries can be catered for.
Thanks everyone at EVP.

Our first night back in New York in a year and this time staying in the East Village. My partner chose this restaurant amongst the many in the area.
We arrived at 8pm with no reservation and were escorted to a seat easily, although within another 20 minutes the place was busier.
Our waiter was very attentive and took our drinks order quickly - the usual for us - sangria and margarita.
I ordered taco with brisket and quesadilla filled with pulled pork. My partner order a burrito which was cold in the middle so he sent it back to be reheated.
Generally the food and drinks were served quickly so you could be in and out of here in an hour.
Notes: service was great, wheelchair accessible (in the front of the restaurant), kid friendly, music and general noise is a little loud for my liking, generally a younger crowd on a Saturday night, atmosphere is pleasant.
