This place comes alive at night. Super safe and loads of friendly people from shop owners to the restaurants to the museum. The place is beautiful at night … has such a great feel. Highly recommend!

Came here for New Year’s Eve dinner … and I have to say that the food was amazing. Everything we ate, from the starter to the dessert, was perfectly prepared and flavourful. And the presentation was on point. Loved the vibe in the place, cozy and intimate. The only miss was the service. From front of house to table service, everything was a bit of a miss. The front of house forgot about us and then remembered and sat us after 20 minutes even though we had a reservation, and then during the 4 course meal the server forgot us and we waited 40 minutes between the 1st and second course. And then they tried to rush us thru the last 2 courses to make up for time. Nice enough about it but it disrupted an otherwise great experience.

Had some really great cocktails here … I ordered the grasshopper which I haven’t had for ages. Super yummy. Also had an old fashioned which was great.

Perfect place to get your Christmas cheer on! Of course I had the mint julep because duh, that’s what they are known for and it did not disappoint. The dirty martini was also great. Loved all of the decorations they had going on, got me right in the holiday spirit. Highly recommend!

Awesome hotel bar with a lovely Christmas vibe at the holidays. Loved my old fashioned, there was a great lounge singer when we went that I really enjoyed. Great decorations. Definitely a must stop on the hotel bar circuit.
