A surprise to us as we were doing a walk around bern. There is the old small concrete pit, however the bears actually have access to the hillside next to the river. This is not free range but certainly better than many zoos I have seen.

We were lucky enough to see a bear running around and playing. You can take a little elevator or stairs down to the waters edge to get a better view.

One must not just look at this arch but also read up about who Constantine was and why he was "the great".

Quite a cool arch to see and you can get many cool shots with Coloseum in the background.

Not nearly as busy as the main area and you wont be pestered by peddlers nearly as much on the southern side.

If you keep going south a bit you will find an entrance into Palatine hill and the Roman Forum which is probably less crowded than the main entrance out the front of the coloseum.

Bit of a disappoiting Billa. The selection of all foods was lacking. Fresh fruit and bakery were partiuclary small.

I would recomend going to the alternative supermarkets near the train station.

Staff however are friendly enough and pleasant to interact with.

Good supermarket which is well priced and better then expected for a train station shop.

The bakery is good along with hot food and deli.

Sadly however the staff werent very friendly. Also the queue can get large and it is poorly managed. It might be quicker to just head out the the euro spar just outside.

Nice to have a bit of history. It is a cute little street but not that much is different from streets in other old towns. vast majority of the shops are high end which makes the whole street feel a bit silly.

I suppose if you are into that then this would be right up your alley way.

If you are Salzburg old town you will probably walk down this street even just by accident.
