At Lamesa, I feel Im in Philippines. Most of my favorite Filipino Dishes are in the buffet menu. Salad bar with all the veggies you like the dressings, cheeses etc then there's the soup bar with the lomi and the sidings to go with lomi. I like the Pizza bar 3 variants of pizzas, the maki of all kinds..it will be best if with sashimi and sushi. But nonetheless the 6 types of makis were there with the ginger and wasabi. All hot dishes some of the menu o can recall- chicken lollipop, KAREKARE with bagoong, yummy, dinuguan, seafood mukbang style shrimp mussels and squid, mixed veggies broccoli and cauliflower, steamed rice Pinoy style, chicken siomai, with delish garlic chilli and soy sauce, pad Thai, and many more, pasta bar is present too Alfredo pasta and tomato spaghetti sauce My favorite is the fresh ready for chopping CRISPY PATA. With all the lechon sauce, soy sauce, with Suka, chilli vinegar. The dessert corner all the Yun cakes sapin sapin, fresh fruit, buko pandan,lecheflan macaroni salad and all salad fruits. The missing piece for the 99 aed per head buffet is the drinks just buy 1 drink and water bottle ala carte or drink outside Bec 169 aed more or less unli drinks and buffet is too much. That's the missing to the perfect score . The drinks ... Went there Dec 3 2023. Al Mirani Fort is a must see when you visit Miscat along with the Al Alam Palace. This 400 century old historical landmark served as protecting Fort during the fight with the Portuguese back in the 16th century. The fort is facing the Gulf.

The view was spectacular especially at night when you can see the lights in the sorounding area. It is recommended to visit before sunset to see the place in daylight and at the same time see the sunset in Oman and at night when all the lights are there.

The Museum is just newly opened 8th days old. In time for the Eid holiday 2024.

The scene from the fort is spectacular. The stone building send you back on time. The stage is wonderful. Stage is one of the beautiful places at the Al Mirani fort. Where you can see everything. Viewing deck.

There is a lovely cafe called The Fort where you can get your refreshments while in the Fort.

As for the parking we parked from the outside of the Palace. Althought if you're in luck there are from outside Al Mirani some parking spaces. The good thing is you get tgood exercise from the parking by walking all the way and the stairs in the fort...you should be able to manage because there are a lot of staircases. Although there are 2 elevators there for main floors, most viewing decks are accessible by stairs

Generally, the Al Mirani Fort stood grandeur atop Oman stones and now that after long time it was opened to public to appreciate the Oman history
