Poor service and no gluten free options as described in other reviews. I’m a coeliac business traveller and waited 15 minutes after being seated before being informed there were no GF options. I left at 9pm and struggled to find somewhere for dinner.
Only one waiter was serving and there was a very large family party which may have impacted my experience.

Great quality but limited choices for coeliacs.
Just tucking into a very tasty sweet potato salad as I type...
I’ve popped in for lunch and was given an allergens menu but it didn’t match what was actually available on the menu and the gluten free choices for lunch were very limited. So I’d be careful if you have allergies; the wait staff are helpful but had to check what was possible.
In their defence the sandwiches can be made with gluten free bread but I’ve never been a fan of GF bread and suspect most coeliacs aren’t either!
Great location as part of the Tropical Centre and Tropenmuseum. Nice friendly atmosphere and helpful wait staff. Limited choices for me hence the three stars.

I’ve just enjoyed a meal with my international colleagues. Lovely location and a very warm and friendly restaurant.
The food is great and as the local guy (Amsterdam) I was pleased that my colleagues enjoyed themselves. The food was of high quality with generous portion sizes.
I’d have given five stars but I’m coeliac and there were issues with my food order. The wait staff didn’t know what was available as a gluten free option and had to refer to the chef. I didn’t know what I was getting until it was presented to me; plus I was presented with fries that had been cooked in the same oil as breaded items and I only found out because I asked. They resolved this quickly though and my meal was delicious.
So a great restaurant in a great location but they need to improve their food allergy / intolerance service.

The Stonewall Inn
I visited just before the pandemic started I was so glad to return. Great to see familiar faces behind the bar and we received a warm welcome.
