Peace garden is the smallest park I ever went to, it isn't considered to be a park. It was nothing only grass and water with shops and restaurants/cafe. You can bring your kids. But there is nothing you can do. You can park in Q-Park Charles Street.

Erewash Museum and Gardens was not something I expected because based on photos in Google maps they had a sun deck chair, but when I visited twice it was empty, but the good stuff is inside the museum, cafe and car park. Other than that there is nothing to do outside

Elvaston county park was big, it good for bringing your kids and dogs here. The park is free but as for the car park is for paid but it for free for disable badge only. There is a cafe next to castle. Unfortunately you can't go inside the castle. I have seen the light shines through the gate like a heaven.

It is a country park where you can walk around beside the lake. There is a car park, that you can park your car for free. You can bring your dog with you. There are Mines and Stones called the top of the world.
