Reuben sandwich at Bouldin Creek Cafe was really yummy as was the salad I had! So nice to find a place with nourishing food in Austin. The blueberry cornbread was also indeed worth it and delicious. The staff are nice and helped my friend who got the jackfruit curry which was too spicy for her. It was busy but we were able to get seated pretty soon. Overall I would recommend it and I’m really happy this place exists. I appreciate the gluten free options as well.
Memorable and fun experience at Olympic Game Farm. We were looking for something to do while waiting for our time for the ferry in Port Townsend and so glad we found this. When we went around 11 am on a Wednesday there were no other cars there. The best part was having the various llamas, cows, deer and buffalo come to the car! One even licked the window so keep your windows up. They were so adorable. We didn’t feed them but we really enjoyed being able to observe them from up close. The wolves and bears being in their small enclosures was a little sad though, the wolves and lion were pacing around. But it was really nice to see the deer roaming around with lots of space. The staff was friendly and looked like they do their best to care for the animals. Overall great experience.
Murasaki Japanese restaurant was a lovely spot for an early dinner with my mom. As a vegan I really enjoyed having quite a few options here! I enjoyed the dancing shiitake roll which was a mushroom based roll with a really interesting texture and sauce. I also had the tropical punch roll which had pineapple and mango and was very refreshing!! The server was nice and accommodating. I recommend for vegan sushi for sure! The chef also stopped by to ensure I liked it. Definitely recommend.
