Marvin Gaye Playground
The concept of this place it great. It would have gotten 5 stars maybe in the first month. It's a very pretty structure with a beautiful splash zone made to resemble music notes. The play equipment is awesome.
My reason for the three star rating:
The location is hideous. Situated on a strip of land between row homes and woods. It's basically 10 steps from one side to the other near the water so if you didnt come to get wet, stay away. The picnic tables are right on the end of the water feature so if you plan on bringing multiple kids, bring multiple adults. You cant see the whole park from any angle so you have to keep moving.
Now I know there is nothing dpr can do about undesirables so I'm not gonna go there, But what can be regulated is the trash. The cans are full to the brim and flies are swarming. The water feature has garbage in it and it's literally trash all over the place.
