Bam Citadel
2019 Jan 03
The biggest brick-made citadel from the era of sasanid empire in iran.
Magnificent glorious structure. Big enough to be an ancient city.
Unfortunately was almost completely ruined by 2004 bam earthquake but some parts has been under reconstruction.
A great historic place

The range of prices was high but it worth it.
The pizza and burger, chicken sandwich, bacon sandwich and pasta, all was great fantastic.
And I was satisfied with my offer to our guest beacause they were foreigner and the high quality of foods made us proud
Despite of searching a lot we couldn't find the structure. We think that it's been confiscated by the military forces because it was located in the middle of the military zone.
On the heights of Tabarak Mt. in Tehran province, Shahrerey there is a brick-made tower which is told that is belonged to seljuk empire or buyid dynasty.
The use of the structure is unknown but it could be the possible mausoleum of one of the Seljuk kings.
The construction is made of ballast and plaster and is well standing. The way to the tower is stepped by Culture Heritage Organisation of Iran and the tower is a must-see object.
