Hoa Duong

The only thing I dislike about this place is portion size. The dishes are significantly smaller than other nearby Thai restaurants with the same price point. The flavor is great, very strong seafood umami. Think of fish sauce and shrimp sauce. They use actual Thai chillies and eggplant. Very unique decoration. Seating is cramped.

Really like the streams. Plenty of trails from easy to moderate. Clean restrooms. It's fine to park on the street. This is just a small part of Harriman so definitely I'll be back to explore more

This is such a pretty and popular park, just like Central Park but with streams and waterfall. Guess what, the park was designed by the Olmsted brothers who were sons of Olmsted designer of Central Park. Even in winter this park looks really nice. It has multiple easy trails and parking lots. Dogs and kids have great fun here. I'll be back to take better photos. The neighborhood surrounded this park is wealthy and nice too.

Thought it was easy but not. Half a mile in to yellow loop and my lung was burning 😂 it was a short fun hike. Many people bring pets and model car here. View of NYC is clear. Parking lot is large and no wait time even at the busiest time. Waterfall is good even in winter. I will come back when the leaves are full.
