Was at the park a couple of weeks ago for the Spring Bulb show at the greenhouse. I so appreciated and enjoyed the sights and senses of spring there! Wished then I can just bottled all of that to take them home with me!!!
It seems there’s also a fall mums show, which is quite fantastic based on the pictures i saw of previous years. Definitely will need to remember to check it out.
The tropical greenhouse was a delight to be in. Especially while the outside was windy and cold.
Quite surprised though to see many homeless in the downtown areas but also many tents are in the park and near the greenhouse as well.

Good food. Very limited menu. On the pricey side!! I ordered the filet mignon and was expecting to see at least some veggies and potatoes with it. So I’m still trying to get over the fact that the dish came with just the meat with some sauces… that’s it! Not even onions. On the brightest side, the filet mignon was cooked to perfection, just as ordered: medium rare!

We were actually at the Eatery, which is just around the corner from the Roaster coffee shop. Excellent Cortado… especially the beautiful heart on top! If you want the typical American breakfast, order the brooklyn fry up. If you want something a bit different, order the caesar toast.

Just love this trail with the beautiful pink rocks/boulders and the magnificent views of the Georgian Bay. We had lunch on the rock ledge over looking the water and islands … with the warm October sun and the sound water against the rock … the best of life is made up of moments like it!

Not exactly an easy hike but quite doable with proper foot wear and stick. Just watch out that you don’t put your step on those pine needles lying harmlessly in the rock … you may slide right down with them 😀. It probably is not a safe place to hike either on a wet day.
