Crystal Vu

This place is real as hell. Unassuming place with few frills but the food is second to none. The food was incredible and very appealing. They really only sell two things so you know they have to be good at it. The meat was so tender and juicy. It made a bit of a mess for me but that's an incredible sign. On top of that, the torta is enormous. I thought I was hungry but I was full at 2 tacos. The torta easily feeds 2. Their salsa is also homemade and is unique to the place. Come here for "normal" tacos and go to the place in South Jersey for fish tacos and you can't go wrong.

This place is incredible. The moment I had a bite of the tacos, I knew that it was just about the most flavorful taco I've ever had. I'd just been in New Mexico which had great Mexican food but I've not had anything like this. If you want great seafood or chicken tacos, this is the place. The selection is a little more narrow but they do it very very well. I also appreciate that the table sauces were all on the spicier end.

It's well worth the longer drive I have to make to get here!

I saw someone else post about the Huli Huli chicken. Can confirm, it is absolutely addictive. I got the 2 combo for 30 dollars. It came with 2 massive ribs, and 2 leg quarters. a feast for 3 people I'd say and the meat is so juicy and flavorful. There wasn't a single thing that I did not like there. I don't know what the seasoning was made from but it may as well be drugs. I'm not sure how Mike's compares but check out the Huli Huli chicken location by the art box gallery!
