This place offers a Brazilian-type menu with various type of meat dishes, I was there for a qyixk family meal, and I was impressed with the service, and fiod portions. The atmosphere doesn't scream Brazilian but considering the location, food. And prices, a pleasant surprise

This is a favorite spot for the residents, and tourists of Weehawken. The quaint, and home-like interior is reminiscent of what can be found in cool places such as Brooklyn, or a European café. The menu is ideal for such a place for small family gatherings, friends to read, or use the computers, and dare I say, to play chess? The outside is not as inviting as it resembles a warehouse, but the interior, the decor is like visiting someone's home who serves a mean latte, and delicious sandwiches. This is my favorite spot when I visit. I can't wait to return.

Coming from a family of butchers and I myself helping my mom make homemade sausages for local stores as a child, I have a good idea of how meat is prepared or taste. This restaurant offers the choices of ordering from the menu or having the meat brought to you by waiters who offer different kinds of meats. I chose the latter. The environment is rustic, full of decorations, and cozy. The service is very good and now, unto the meats. Overall, from different types of meats offered, I was disappointed. The only flavor I can recall after a week was the spicy sausage. The rest, bland, or tasteless, and even too chewy. This could be because it was overcooked or undercooked, but it was definitely not the experience of a place known for its meats.

This was my first, and maybe last time visit. I believe this is a popular location for Latin cuisine. As you enter, you're greeted by a display of rice, fried pork, yuca, plantains, etc. We were seated at the elevated area, where nothing of Cuban culture is displayed. We ordered the fried Calamari appetizer, and it arrived unusually fast. Unfortunately, I realized why since it was cold, bland, and soggy. I ordered a mojito, as they say, when in Rome, and it was just really soda with seltzer water with no liquor. The rice Moro was fine, the churrasco steak was fine but overcooked since I ordered it medium well. For a nearly $100 order for two people, it was overpriced, and not worth it. The name of the restaurant, like any other label, may have been better, or the only authentic Cuban restaurant in the neighborhood 20–30 years ago, but considering the food quality and decor, it should have not been a $100 order. Moreover, once a business relies only on its name and past success, rarely would they want to improve or adhere to critiques. I've added the pictures of all that was ordered between my girlfriend and I, and I ask you, would you pay this much for such a meal?!

This is a hidden gem of Peruvian cuisine. The presentation of dishes was elegant and colorful. The waiter was thorough in the oral explanation of the specials, fluent in both Spanish and English. He was able to answer all our dietary needs, including being specific about the ingredients. The dishes took some time to arrive but well worth it. The decor was rustic and sophisticated, reminded me of Portugal. Although Perú is not known for its wine, the selection was eclectic. The prices are within reason of fine dining. Overall, this is a must visit for upscale Peruvian cuisine with excellent service with an elegant ambiance.
