Playground

This little playground is next to the Lyles-Crouch Traditional Academy and it is open to the public with the exception of school hours. It's a good sized play area with a playground, swings, giant climbing net (for 5-12yr olds), a small baseball field, and a basketball court. There are 6 picnic tables and a several benches scattered around. We brought our little ones to play on a weekend afternoon and they seemed to enjoy their time here. Even a few grown adults came by after a while and they looked to be reliving their childhood on the giant climbing net.

There are street parking along the perimeter of the playground and even a small parking lot by the basketball court. There are no public restrooms, so have a plan when you bring your potty training littles.

Overall, it's been a good experience and fun for the whole family. We'll be back again soon.
GreenDrop

When it comes to donating my stuff, I usually go to some thrift store in the area. But when I was looking up donation centers near me and read the reviews on Green Drop, I had to check it out.

It's a noticibly small building off Route 1 and I like the fact that I don't have to get out of my car as I'm bringing my donations. As one guy comes around to take away my box of stuff, another guy takes down my info as it was my first time donating at this location. I can even choose which charity to support, of which your donations are turned into critical funds to support either the American Red Cross, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, or the National Federation of the Blind.

Additionally, according to their website, if you're unable to make it during their hours of operation, they also offer pickup at any time and place you provide.

The ease, simplicity, and efficiency of this donation center makes it one of the best places to bring my unwanted items. I highly recommend!
Bucknell Manor Park is a simple park with more than a handful of parking spaces, a semi-fenced play area (with 2 playgrounds and a seesaw), a single basketball hoop and one large baseball/softball field. There is only a single port-a-potty, so keep that in mind. They're also a sizable grass area that many dog walkers take their dogs to do their business. Some will pick up after their pets, but others don't, so be careful when walking on it if you don't want a smelly surprise on your foot. I'll also add that this park sometimes attracts interesting groups of people at random times of the day. Otherwise, it's a decent little park to take the kiddos and have a simple picnic.
