We need more public art like this to inspire conversations! I didn't take a picture as we were driving underneath, but kudos to whoever designed this. We had a great time talking about it!

This park is beautiful and spacious. The grounds are kept clean, and they have clean bathrooms. The park has courts for baseball, basketball, tennis, handball and they also have a skatepark. There is a play area for kids and a splash pad that is on during warmer weather. It is far from the city but if you are looking to get a little ways out but atay close this would be a great spot. It's also next to a state park which has some pretty views.

This is what a small town cemetery looks like. Sitting next to the water gives the place a peaceful feeling. Some of the graves are old and in disrepair while others have been buried recently. Overall this is a nice place to stroll and see the lives of the island's residents from past years.

This is a public art statue located in the southern part of Pelham Bay Park. The entire complex is beautiful and a perfect place to spend the day with the daily or on your own. There is plenty of parking and space to not feel crowded.

This is a quiet place to sit at the tip of City Islam. The parking here is difficult, but there is a great view of the Long Island Sound and the stepping stone lighthouse. The place is clean. There aren't any bathrooms to use nearby, so plan to hold it.
