What a beautiful little surprise as I walked the main road to get to the Goodwill. I didn't even know this was here. Butterflies flying around in the little beautiful garden as a stroll through the outbuildings beautiful 75° day. Pablo and 6th Street between route 90. St Paul's Church It's just what I needed. Really. So much so. I drew a few pieces about it.
I'll probably make a few based on these buildings because I love the location.
I even went back the next day and asked the driver to stop so I could take a few more pictures of the church before I left for NY.

Churches in Rome are Free.

And worth entering anytime you see one open. Just be respectful and quiet as it is a wonder inside with memorials everywhere

We saw the Vatican yesterday and this is as beautiful for sure. And unlike the overcrowded but still worth it Vatican you can spend as much time finding Each corner has a surprise.

Just blown away by it.

So we had a few places we had pizza in Rome and boy was it disappointing especially being from New York.

And then we found this place and oh boy did I love this pizza My goodness was it good as good as New York places maybe a tiny bit better just from the atmosphere and how they do things but boy is it really good The origins of pizza are alive here I just loved it.

The attendant didn't speak English at all which was kind of fun a little frustrating for him for sure and you could see it in his face A lot of pointing and very little Italian a lot of thanks and please and this and that pointing but once you get it right you're not really sure what kind of how much pizza you going to get He starts moving the knife like oversections to see how to show you how much you're going to get and then he cuts it and you're like what I'm not sure that's that's what I wanted but that's what I'm getting again when you're in Rome l. so funny I loved it
At first they sat at a bench table cuz it was kind of cool temperature wise and then I was waiting for my girlfriend and her son and I gentleman just sat down right next to me so when they got back there was no where for them to really kind of squeeze in so we went upstairs and I'm so glad we would upstairs The upstairs is so cool do yourself a favor get a piece of pizza and go upstairs and just sit there The Romans eat here many people were here having lunch and they were just eating quietly and then just leave their plates and walk away and they attended would clean them really neat I wish I would have had the pasta that they were having it really look great but my piece of piece it was so great anyway

I haven't been inside this store in about 25 yrs or so. i grew up near here and the last time I was here was in the early 1990s or so. It hasn't really changed much inside but the exterior is completely renovated. When you walk in the smell is so pleasant and inviting. A mix of the chocolate and candy as well the candles wash over you with a hint of the old wood interior form this landmark. So many interesting things to see here and buy if you like. Get a honey stick or rock candy pop. Brings you back in time. 5+++stars love this store.

One of my very favorite places in Head of the Harbor. i have been coming here for 40+ years and I still love as much. Sailed my 1st sunfish right in front of this park in 1983. You have to be a resident to park here. I am not a resident so we didn't stay long at all. There are only a few parking spots. My Bday rainy visit only lasted 10 min. Great view rain or shine.
