I parked on 30th St NW and took the Normanstone trail over the hill to Mass ave and walked the short distance to the memorial. Beautiful yet small memorial of a timeless poet. Though traffic can be loud near sunset, it's the best time to visit as the memorial is oriented west. You can also see the sun set over the British embassy.
Restoring the water features would make this little spot absolutely magical.
