Out for a weekend drive checking out the town of Minden put unfortunate this museum decide to stay close on the weekend. It sure hurt your town tourism dollar when nothing is open on the weekend for the working people who like to take a weekend road trip. Please stay open on Saturday at least for everyone who works during the week.

Nice stop in Northern part of Louisiana. Learn a lot of information about the early settlement of German in the area. The people have done a lot of work to keep this piece of history alive so other can learn from it. Lots of interesting building to see. The lady gave a great tour with lots of story behind this location.
