I love this place! Finding a parking spot was easy. Being able to place a drink order for the intermission before the show starts is fabulous! I ordered a cocktail before the show started, and it was waiting for me at the bar during intermission.
This is an absolutely beautiful location with plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment! It's often quite crowded. The best time to go is at dusk when it's starting to cool down. If you are planning to rent a swan paddling boat, it's nice to use them just before sunset.

I saw Tony Toni Tonè at this venue. The band was phenomenal! One of the very best live shows that I've had the privilege to see!!! The sound was good, but it was difficult to understand what was said when the singers would talk between songs. I enjoyed the intimacy of the venue in terms of the small crowd. It's best to get there at least an hour early. Parking is located in a garage under the venue, but you need time to get in, get seated, order drinks, and/or a meal. If you don't get food and drinks before the show starts, it will be difficult once it's crowded. I had wings and mashed potatoes with a passion fruit margarita. The wings were tasty, the drink was bitter, and the mash was meh. There was no salt or butter! In terms of the look of the venue... it truly needs updating! It still looks like a very old movie theater, and it was truly hot inside.
This nature center and park are my favorite places to visit. I hike here at least 3 times a week and stop in to chat with Ranger Kirk and Laura! They're amazing people who take really great care of the park and nature center! I recommend visiting anyone who wants a safe, clean, well maintained place to enjoy nature. It's so peaceful and I love it. There are a couple of turkeys, plenty of chickens, and a couple of ducks in outdoor pens. Right now, the barn that was being used for field trips is being renovated. Ranger Kirk and his staff have put up a mid-size tent to accommodate the students in the meantime.
I love hiking here! Since I'm new to hiking, it's been a bit confusing on the trails. I was a bit ambitious and wanted to get to a trail that was pretty far out. I got there, but it took so long that I had to speed walk to make it back to my car before the park closed. The trails at this park are very wall maintained. There are plenty of people out there so that you won't be alone for long periods of time. Hiking here helps clear my mind, and seeing the Eagles by the dam is amazing!
