Small intimate dive bar with a calendar full of great live jazz. Just saw Marc Cary featuring trumpet great, Ingrid Jensen. Recently checked out bassist Corcoran a Holt with trumpeter Marquis Hill.

They really feature the best of local national and international talent. The room is small enough that you can see and hear them from everywhere. The bar has good drinks, and the food is decent.

A thought-provoking and well laid out gallery in the heart of Southwest DC. They're exhibits ranging from grandiose and spectacular to disturbing and somber, and all points in between. The art is staged throughout the gallery on three floors including a below ground level. For the less agile there are elevators to take you throughout the building. We really enjoyed our time spent here!
Newly renovated park and playground with lots of basketball courts. Even has a dedicated half court so you can play when the whole courts are full. There's a field for football, baseball, and soccer (grass), and a track for walking/jogging. Also tennis courts and fully equipped kids play areas.
New rims and baskets. All types of programming for the kiddies. A track for walking or running. A playground for the kids, and a workout area for adults outside. Turkey thicket is a nice place to exercise or relax, and recreation center has a pool, a workout room, and various game rooms in addition to a basketball court / volleyball court.
A beautiful park space! Complete with kiddie playground, and a space for bigger kids that's more challenging. A paved walkway circles both the play areas and the huge grass soccer pitch. Thickets of trees are interspersed throughout, as are a multitude of benches where you can take a break or have a chat. There are picnic spots with tables near the play spots.
