We booked a day trip so all the fees were paid by our guide. I do recommend getting there early. We departed from Ubud at 3.30am and managed to get to the entrance of the temple at 5:30am. The temple opens at 6am. Even getting there so early, our photo ticket number was 19. We got our photo taken at around 7am.

They set up a photo taking stand and will use your phone to take photos for you. The guy taking the photo will use a mirror to create a water surface effect and he will burst shot if you do the jumping poses.

Aside from the photo session, there isn't much to do at this temple site.

Highly recommend you book in advance.
We had the set menu and with two persons, we could try everything on the set menu.
The food was great, the beef especially was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful with explanations and suggestions.
The vibe is intimate and cozy.

Stumbled upon this place while exploring. Very quaint and lovely place with interesting here and there. But we were there on the 1st of January so maybe a lot people are not working.

Didn't see the Yayoi Kusama pumpkin despite the poster outside.

Been here a couple of times. The steak was delicious. I usually take the Bali flavour.
The mood is great. Make sure to call ahead to reserve or go early to have seats.
The price is mid to high, a normal piece of steak was around 22euro.
