Saffron Kabab Restaurant
Service was definitely subpar compared to the bank location. Our waitress did not seem to care about being there at all and was talking in such a low voice we could not hear her half of the time. Due to the service I had to take a star off hence the 4/5 rating.
Other than the service, the food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared with large portions! We always get the saffron mix for 2&3, and it comes with super light and fluffy hummus, garlic spread, garden salad, lentil soup and a mixture of grilled meats on top of a bed of rice and grilled tomatoes. We always have leftovers when we’re 2 and ordering this dish. We decided to also try the faloodeh shorazi and it was delicious! Not too sweet but a super refreshing dessert to share.

Indian Punjabi Clay Oven
Great Indian restaurant in the West end of Ottawa! Very friendly service, and love that you can choose the spicy level based on either Canadian or Indian standards 👌🏼 each dish contained a good amount of meat and/or veggies and everything tasted fresh!
Tip: One serving of rice is enough to share between 2-3 people, especially if you’re getting naan as well!
