Made a special stop in Baltimore to see Guiness Open Gate. SUPER IMPRESSED! We scheduled a tour, which was informative and well presented. We then did a tasting, followed by dinner. Everything was great. We wished we had more time, as it closed at 9pm. Definitely worth a stop and take the tour. Highly recommended!
Comfortable, relaxed vibe at Barnstormer. Our party enjoyed the tasting and atmosphere here. The wines were delicious, and the references to air travel were unique and interesting. Definitely worth a stop on a tour of the area.
Locals recommended we try Blockhouse while visiting Greenville. Blockhouse isn't much to look at from the street, but was a FANTASTIC place to eat. Blockhouse doesn't pretend to be anything other than good old fashioned southern cooking. Oysters, steak, baked potatoes, and plenty of home cooked options. Our server, Nicole was spectacular. Loved it. Highly recommended.
While visiting the area, our Airbnb host recommended Capitol Ale House to try local craft beers. We spent the evening sampling Virginia made beer and trying different food. Our server, Savanah, was amazing. We enjoyed our time and will certainly be back. Highly recommended.
BEST SUNDAY BRUNCH!! Local friends recommend K2 as one of the best breweries in the area. We decided to try brunch, and it was FANTASTIC. The staff was friendly and handled the busy morning well. The food was absolutely AMAZING. From cornbread skillets to pound cake French toast, everything was tasty. The beers were excellent as well, and we bought cans to take home. We can't wait to come back to K2. Highly recommended!!
