Very nice and quiet. lots of picnic tables. lots of chairs. perfect to enjoy a nice New York City day.
Nice sitting by the water and watching the beautiful stoning scene with Manhattan and the horizont.

Very good way to go from Brooklyn to wall street no traffic at all. It's always quiet on the ferry. And for a bones you get to watch a beautiful panoramic view from Brooklyn and then from Manhattan the way is differently quicker than a car.
Also they have a nice small grocery on the ferry where you can get some food and drinks
