TPC Harding Park
2024 Sep 02
TPC Harding Park is a nice course, but only for the Back 9, cause there's not much design in the Front 9 (if you take photos, they'll pretty much look the same), just carpet-like fairway makes you feel like playing in the PGA certified course. (meanwhile I just personally don't like the course surrounded by buildings and traffic)

And as the matter of fact, the Back 9 is really better with view to the lake, and luckily I played during late afternoon, the sunset colored the course with golden rays.
Definitely a five ⭐ star.

Condition is good, course layout is good, course design is good, meanwhile, this is the only course serves fresh and cold water at every other 3 holes, shows how caring they are.

Like Hole 14 a lot, there's a big slop on the left, you have to drive the ball to the right, to avoid ball sliding into the tule reeds field.

P.S. there's 3 Par 3 and 3 Par 5 in the back 9, have 😊 fun
A rather interesting course to play at.

A LOT of up and down hill, especially their signature Hole 18, which is a Par 6 hole (first time ever for me), it goes big downhill first, and a big uphill in front of green, not just the distance and accuracy, but also your course management skill, to lay up for your next shot.

Was surprised to find out that this is actually a more than 100 years old course, big tribute to it 👍
Definitely the best public course I've ever played in.

Except some muddy little area (caused by the rain ☔ the day before), everything here is just on point 👉.

The back 9 is an upgraded version of the front 9, course design is more beautiful (with ponds), and more challenging.

Play hole 18 with the afterglow, is one of the best golfing experiences ever!
You have to cross the Golden Gate Bridge 🌉 itself to Hawk Hill to access to this viewpoint.

Came here once during daytime, but believe that this viewpoint offers better scene and ambience during night time.

It's so quiet and silent that you can meditate against it.
