I work locally and when it hits lunch time- I have found that most locations are too expensive. However, what makes this location so appealing is the service, the quality, the prices, and how friendly the employees are.
NYC is swarming with people and with our busy and chaotic lifestyles, we often don't think to say "hi" or get the small town feel by knowing your neighborhood vendors.
Granted, Park Slope is unique in the sense that this is pretty much, Sesame Street- a family friendly neighborhood. Although, the intimacy of knowing who the merchants are is still lost. Whenever I call to make my order- they always know what I want and make suggestions based on my liking's (they actually pay attention :) )
So, next time you are there or if you choose to give this place a shot-- ask for Hector, because he is incredibly kind, sweet, and an overall awesome individual. He'll make you the best bacon egg and cheese on a toasted roll with hot sauce :) or anything you'd like!
enjoy!
