Florentin is a great place to enjoy a special event dinner with your loved ones. Not a usual place for regular event considering the slightly high price tag, the food quality and services are worth the price.
I like the fact that I can have a la carte options next to the set menu. The pita and dips are very nice and hearty. The salmon in yuzu sauce is refreshing and tantalizing on taste buds. The monk fish is also a must try. And of course the balagan dessert is the highlight whereby the staff prepares and explains right at the table.
When ordering the gin and tonic, I thought the staff said they made their own gin. It turned out I misunderstood. The gin is fever-tree and only the combination with herbs was different later. It was okie but I expected differently.
Although we came late 30’ and still had to go with our dining time period of 2 hrs, the staff was very courteous and friendly to remind and let us stay technically till we finished. Excellent service for the staff team.

I highly recommend sushi here, especially the rolls. They taste fresh and presentation is eye-catching. We ordered the crispy prawn roll and salmon avocado roll and both were excellent. The nigiri pieces were fine and the cook could have added a bit of wasabi underneath the fish.
We also ordered chicken wings for starters but they were quite bland.
The portions of the sushi were a bit small so watch out for big eaters.

We had quite a good meal at Quang Minh. The staff made very good impression by their friendliness and hospitality. The menu was extensive with a good selection of Vietnamese dishes. We ordered Bo Kho banh mi and Com sườn nướng, and later chè bắp for dessert. The Bo Kho was decent with good flavour and portion. The rice dish was almost hitting the jackpot with the rice, shallot oil, pickles and dipping sauce. However the grilled pork chop didn’t have the right grilled flavour, which made the experience less authentic.
Another thing to take note is the long service time. The restaurant is understaffed so you would need to be patient.

The teahouse is a lovely perfect place for a brunch. It’s pretty crowded during lunchtime so you want to make early reservation. Otherwise you may have to wait outside for a table.
The food quality is good. The panza (pancake and pizza) is a small let down for me, probably because of the veggies topping. I recommend to stick with either one but not to combine.
And the appeltaart is highly recommended.
