This bar is absolutely stunning! Love the atmosphere, the service, the design of the place omg… and the cocktails are unbelievable! High quality, fine taste. It is an old speakeasy with the symbol of a key that opens a door as a logo.. so beautiful also the menu the graphic.. the lights! Perfect. A must see in NYC. I tried the cocktail called Amelia, my friends tried Gaia and another friend tried Powerhouse (if I remember well the name).. all very special

The building is beautiful. The exhibition not really. When I went to visit it there were three different exhibitions on three different floors. No connections between them. I guess what is the curatorial choice behind it. Plus on Thursday Night they organize a jazz concert in the hall which is free for everyone but it’s basically some live music in a bookstore. The context is not chill or nice.. I don’t know.. I am very confused about this institution.

I went to The Smith on a Thursday night with a friend. We went because of their famous Bloody Mary that is made with a special recipe. It was great. A bit spicy compared to a classic Bloody Mary but really good. And their Mac and Cheese? Wow. Simply WOW. I would definitely recommend it especially for the tourists that want to have a real NewYorker Experience.

I went there on Sunday afternoon. The structure of the museum is quite big but it has only few artworks inside. The thing that I really didn’t like was the selection of artists inside. I would recommend to get a stronger curator and think wisely what to show. Some of the shows are not even art . I wouldn’t go back.. but maybe for a first visit can be nice
