I came here for a work party recently and I can firstly say this place is gorgeous. From the lighting to the details, it's very “Instagrammable”, but I did appreciate it. The area by the upstairs bathroom is a perfect area for this.
However, I did notice some regular patrons were seated near the area of our work party.
Everyone who I came in contact with was helpful and nice.
I had the rice and salmon and it was fairly decent. The salmon at first was slightly dry with the initial bite but got better as you got further in. The rice was a bit too soggy for me.
As for drinks, they are on the pricey side. I paid $22 for a Casamigos reposado Margarita. The drink was the right balance of sweetness and strength for me.
In all, I would try here again just to see if there is a difference between a catered experience and a regular dining experience.
I see Skinos being good for a date night or celebrating a birthday.

My best friend and I wanted to get something warm while in Grand Central and she chose here.
The line wasn’t too long and it took about 5 minutes for us to get to order. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable as I navigated my thoughts on what to order and what size. I ordered a large hot chocolate with oat milk. The price was $6.75.
It was very tasty. The balance between the hot chocolate and the milk was great. I wished it quickly. The only thing I wished for was that there was an oat or almond-based whipped cream to go with it.
Otherwise, if I need hot chocolate I would head back here!

Panda Delight
I ordered here for lunch the other day. I got chicken wings and vegetable lo mein and steamed pork dumplings.
The food came pretty fast and it was well packaged. They included the sauces I asked for, but no fork and knife or hot sauce.
Food wise it was quite disappointing regarding quality/taste. The wings were very small and the noodles were a bit mushy. The dumplings were fairly decent.
Overall, I personally won't be ordering from here again.

The Original Pancake House
This is my second time visiting the Original Pancake House.
The first time the service wasn't the greatest, and we were outside.
The weather is a bit more chilly now, so when trying it this time we made sure we stayed inside.
Walking in, my friends and I were greeted immediately and were seated. The inside was much like a laid-back diner. Our server, Alem came and was the sweetest.
My friends started with tea and I got orange juice. I just want to say this orange juice is freshly squeezed and it was sooooo good. I also want to pre-warn you all that there isn't any champagne here for mimosas.
Onto the food, I ordered the special Apple oven-baked pancakes in the regular portion. Now, before I ordered them, Alem did warn me that they weren't typical pancakes. I was willing to try something new.
When they came I was like wow. It was a big portion, and I mean BIG. It was very warm and the dish looked like a dessert. The apples were very good and as warm as they looked (maybe even warmer). You have to dig to get to the pancake portion, and my first time, It did taste different, a bit softer than I'm used to, but then I felt like I was going to like it. I was wrong. It has an acquired taste and it's very sweet. The portion is definitely made for two people. My side of bacon helped balance out the sweetness. Alem asked for my feedback and was very apologetic when I told her I didn't like it.
Overall the original pancake house is good for a non-brunch-like party environment. It's good for children as well. If you go, ask for Alem her service was great! It did help since the service last time wasn't that great. The pricing was pretty cheap as well, as for the 4 of us, it was about $22 Per person, in which there was an inflation few there.

Came here with two friends because one of them visited before and loved it.
There is an outside area, a bar area, and a dining area. The dining area is small and the bar area decor is casual. The ambiance really does make me think I’m in Italy. It’s cozy and I do feel that you can spend a lot of time here. I would keep in mind that the area by the bar is a bit narrow and the dining room is a bit small as well.
We had Alex as our server and he was very friendly. I had an Aperol spritz. It personally wasn’t my favorite. My appetizer was the lamb chops and my gosh. These lamb chops were amazing!
For our mains, we ordered the special lamb shank risotto, I ordered the Rigatoni e Gamberi, and Steak special. I wanted to order the Lamb, but since I’m not a mashed potato eater I couldn’t get it. The lamb was DELICIOUS! I also liked my friend's steak. When it came to my Rigatoni, it was a bit dry and lackluster. I was a bit sad.
We finished with the Tiramisu and it was delicious!
In all, I feel like Briciola excels with their meat-based meals. I would recommend this as a casual date whether it be with friends or a significant other.
