A pretty big space that houses multiple vendors, each with their own individual sections of the store. Things were clearly marked, lots of sales and promotions, the staff were friendly. My one critique is that this place is so organized, and people seem to know what they have, so don't go here expecting to find some hidden gem at a super-low price. Having said that, buying used furniture that is actually made of wood is 100% better than any of the new stuff that Wayfair or Ikea or whoever offer, and if I lived near here that is 100% what I would use this place for.

A fun and quirky assortment of reasonably-priced items that you probably haven't seen in the other shops on second street. Add it to your rotation.

Middlefield fair is pretty much an institution of western MA. My family and I have tried to come out for the last few years, and will continue to do so, likely in ever increasing numbers. I apologize in advance, we are loud.

Also I did the cover art for the fair booklet in like 98 or something so I am basically MF royalty. It's the one that looks like a child did it. With all the weight of this accreditation, I endorse Middlefield Fair.

Castle Rock Park, the Osman Loop, Sugar Loaf Hill, all are charming and very hike-able. I love these trails and they are my local favorites, Sugar Loaf in particular, which provides a great quick workout for those who find that kind of thing alluring. It is super picturesque here, as well. Sometimes the parking lot here can be really crowded. Actually, do not come. It is bad.

LIQUOR TOWN. When I was a kid, I'd go here because they didn't card. As an adult, I found myself going elsewhere. But if you need a handle of vodka, look no further.
